What We're Looking For:
Iridium is seeking a Software Developer III to join our B/OSS Billing Development team. As a Software Developer III (B/OSS), you'll be responsible for the design and development of Billing and Provisioning applications and will perform full stack software development within the B/OSS delivery team. In this role, you will also provide technical support, as required, to supplement the operations and other support teams. As a Software Developer III, you will be expected to display a depth of knowledge in development, maintenance, and support of multiple core software systems within the development team product catalogue.
What You'll Do:
Design, develop, and maintain billing and provisioning software applications, including new programs, enhancements, and modifications
Participate fully in Agile Scrum team development cycle, including design discussions
Develop and maintain Java based applications
Participate in backlog issue management by ensuring stories are written correctly, acceptance criteria are fully captured, and issues follow the defined workflow to lead to successful commitments.
Participate fully in end-to-end development from frontend systems to backend systems
Review peer code against team agreed code standards and industry best practices
Produce new builds/patches and deployments upon completion of development tasks
