This is a part-time or temporary non-benefited position. Description & Details: The Dickinson Research Extension Center (DREC) is hiring a motivated individual that will assist with research in the Agronomy Department. The main focus of this position will be the collecting of data & observations for research on crop production systems in southwest North Dakota and working with small grains in a controlled environmental setting. Some of the responsibilities will include assisting in the activities required for the successful execution of field-based agronomy demonstrations and trials to include note taking, data entry and other duties that are required to meet the project goals. Ideally, the candidates can start work as early as January 12th and work through mid-August.
Work Schedule:
The regular work schedule is flexible, working Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm.

Starting pay rate is $10.00 per hour.

Position Description
The Monarch Research and Education SkillBridge Internship offers hands-on experience in monarch monitoring, habitat assessments, conservation, and community outreach. Interns conduct field research using standardized protocols and work directly with biologists and Natural Resource Managers on military lands.
This is a field-focused position. Interns typically spend four days each week outdoors and one day completing data entry, writing, and administrative tasks. Fieldwork involves documenting milkweed presence, identifying blooming plants, and recording monarch eggs, larvae, and adults. The hourly salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual hourly rate for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?
The Travelers Claim Intern program provides qualified candidates an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand business experience, receive valuable on-the-job training, to contacting clients, determining coverage, scoping of losses and completing damage estimates. What Will You Do?
* Internship includes:
* On-boarding of Travelers systems and protocols.
* Exposure to Personal and Business Insurance claims of basic to moderate complexity.
* Learn and understand effective strategies for investigating, negotiating and resolving claims thoroughly, accurately and efficiently.
* Develop knowledge of what happened, estimating damage, determining what coverages apply and helping our customers through the process.
* Observe the work of the Claim Professional through desk and ride alongs with experienced employees.
* Work with a designated coach to develop knowledge of claims through core assignments.
* Complete challenging and meaningful project work.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

4. International Tax Intern
As an international tax intern, you will go through a hands-on training program during the first two weeks of the internship in which you will learn how to utilize tax software programs, develop an understanding of tax procedures and work closely with seasoned tax professionals including shareholders. Your responsibilities and experiences will be similar to those of our first-year tax associates and is a great way to see firsthand how rewarding a public accounting career can be.
Responsibilities:
Work with a variety of Shareholders, Managers, Associates and other interns on an array of tax returns
Assist with the preparation of foreign disclosures and corporate returns for inbound and outbound companies
Assist with individual tax returns and foreign disclosures for cross border employees
