Summary of Functions
The primary responsibility of a Project Manager is to manage each project assigned to him/her according to Odin's corporate philosophy of safe, quality production and client satisfaction while securing the most favorable economic outcome for Odin. The Project Manager will understand and comply with published Company policy and procedures.
Reports to the respective Regional Manager. The Project Manager will coordinate labor and equipment with the Vice President of Operations for the selection, assignment and utilization of job supervisors, foremen, engineers, health and safety officers, and workers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide initial client contact to assess scope of work and resources required to successfully complete project.
Prepare complete estimate for selected project with detailed review of proposal specifications, drawings, takeoff information, contracting, and the like.
Supervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives, AE representatives, other contractors, etc.
Plan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, and may provide day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff in accounting, purchasing, etc.).
Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required. Initiate and maintain extra work estimating and issuance of change orders.
Assume responsibility contractual performance of the project.
Perform additional assignments per Supervisor's direction
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred
Education and experience include: 4-year engineering degree/ Construction Management degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience. Minimum of eight years construction management, estimating, and/or craft supervision experience in similar facility construction. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); craft agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations; engineering, estimating, schedules and safety required. Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills essential.

The Powerplant Engineer develops and drives technical improvements within our shop process, develops repair capability through tooling design and testing systems, coordinates and investigates out of scope findings and measurements including 3D and 4D measurement systems. Liaison with customer and OEM engineers on repair scopes and Engineering deviations.
Responsibilities and Duties (included but not limited to):
Measurement, documentation and reporting on out of scope findings on engines and parts
Repair development, design and documentation
Assists production line Inspectors with work scope processing, the input of non-routines and assurance of necessary tooling and data requirements.
Research technical data, tooling, drawings, and parts requirements for future capability and capacity expansion. Assist QA with technical data research, technical records, material traceability, tooling and parts requirements.
Track documentation during creating, review and approval processes and throughout their lifecycle.
Produces high quality written reports that detail specific findings, processes and results to meet client expectations, applicable standards, and are appropriate for their intended audience.
Liaison with customer service, customers, engineers and staff to achieve our goals
Preferred Skill Set:
Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering (preferred)
Experience on CFM56 and LEAP engine lines
Knowledge and experience of the Civil Aviation MRO Industry
Familiar with FAA Part 145 Knowledge of aircraft and engine technical data
Excellent communication skills - Strong verbal, written and analytical skills
Able to navigate and decipher technical manuals
Excellent organizational habits
Capable of multitasking
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite CAD Design Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
