Position Summary The WORLD Internship Program is a 10-week program aimed to develop a bench of talented professionals who will be able to join us after college graduation. As a Summer Intern, you will gain an understanding of the Insurance Industry and the distribution models for Insurance Products. The program will provide you with a broad understanding of the insurance brokerage cycle from identifying and properly marketing risks, building a service timeline, implementing service requests, and working through a renewal. (Graduates and students enrolled in Insurance and Risk Management programs strongly preferred) Must be willing to work onsite, M-F between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (we do not offer remote internships) Prior customer support experience preferred. Possess strong organization / administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members. Self-motivated and driven. Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work with and meet deadlines. Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to actively listen, and problem solve with minimal assistance.
