Job Description
Interns will learn the inner-workings of what goes into putting a software together from a marketing and sales perspective. The intern will be assigned tasks from the Marketing team and Sales Account Executives. Internship duties vary greatly. Tasks include handling & writing posts for the social media accounts, client outreach, assisting with website content, Colorado event research, and more.
In your role as Social Media Intern you will be responsible to support the Activation Manager on the following topics:
Implementation of the global strategy for paid social media
Support in the development and implementation of a global Influencer marketing strategy
Shape our social media presence and establish our social media tech stack.
Drive continuous optimization of Otter's social media accounts
Develop, implement and evaluate social media campaigns in collaboration with key markets and our digital agency.
Global management of Otter's social media monitoring and listening platform
Qualifications
Knowledge of Google Drive - Excel & Word
Fast-learner, ability to multi-task, responsible, reliable, self-motivated and trustworthy
Excellent written, verbal, organizational, problem solving skills
Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)

REQUIREMENTS
Internship is unpaid. Interns are to be available for 10 hours throughout the week. This is a 3 month internship starting January 14th - April 14th. We are very flexible with your schedule, but do need someone that is committed and interested in Otter. We are looking to help enhance your impact on the world for someone who is organized, dedicated, creative, as well as someone who we can rely on.

We are seeking a motivated Digital Marketing Intern to support a variety of digital marketing initiatives, with work spanning areas such as website operations, digital asset management, marketing automation, and performance reporting.
Specific responsibilities will be defined based on business priorities and the intern's interest and strengths, but the focus will remain on building foundational skills, getting hands-on system experience (Adobe & Salesforce products), and contributing to real, active work.
What You'll Do:
Support digital marketing efforts across the website, digital asset management (DAM), and marketing automation platforms
Assist with content updates, asset organization, and basic campaign builds, testing, and QA
Help manage data inputs such as lists, forms, and tagging to support accurate reporting and execution
Gather and summarize performance data and insights across digital channels
Document processes, workflows, and best practices as the team evolves
Support special projects and operational improvements based on team priorities
What We're Looking For:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Current undergraduate pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or related fields
Foundational understanding of digital marketing concepts, including websites, email, content, and analytics (coursework or exposure acceptable)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow documented processes
Analytics mindset with interest in understanding performance, data, and continuous improvement
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or related fields.

What You'll Do:
Assist in the creation, updating, and organization of sales enablement materials, including presentations, one-pagers, and reference documents.
Build and maintain a centralized PowerPoint bank for the sales team, ensuring content is accurate, on-brand, and easy to navigate.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering and Training teams to gather content and translate information into clear, sales-ready materials.
Support standardization of messaging, formatting, and visuals across sales presentations.
Assist with version control and content governance to ensure sales teams are using the most up-to-date materials.
Help adapt existing marketing materials for sales use based on audience or customer needs.
Support ad hoc sales enablement projects as needed.
Attend meetings as required and provide notes or follow-ups when applicable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
