Duties and Responsibilities:

Safe Equipment Operation & Maintenance:
Perform daily inspections, environmental swabbing, and product inspections.
Verify compliance with established standards
Perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance on Quality equipment.
Conduct internal audits.
Product Handling, Quality Control & Inventory Management:
Conduct and oversee tasks like sensory testing, label verification, and analytical testing to ensure product attributes are correct.
Understand and follow plant policies for placing materials on hold and collecting retention samples.
Assist with inventory control for approved suppliers following FIFO practices.
Help with customer sample requests and microbiological testing for shipping requirements.
Communicate quality results to other teams within the plant.
Advise production teams in re-alignment when product is out of specifications.
Manage programs related to traceability and warehouse systems.
Provide back-up support in the department lead's absence.
Food Safety & Sanitation Compliance:
Lead facility inspections and assist with a variety of quality checks and audits.
Follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and company food safety policies.

Education & Experience:

Technical & Mechanical Skills:
Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and advise on minor adjustments to formulas or processes.

Advanced levels require proficiency in MII, WE systems, and interpreting line huddle measures to resolve issues.

As the QA Document Control Associate, you will support Quality Assurance (QA) activities. Activities include but are not limited to: Maintenance and organization of the Central File system, Issuance of documents, Review and Release of Batch Records, and Support of MasterControl tasks (such as Document Collaborations). All in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and 21 CFR 210/211.
Essential Functions:
Generation and Issuance of controlled documents, including but not limited to Batch Record documents/forms, specification, and logbooks.
Review of lot specific documentation for Batch Production Records (including raw data, batch record associated pages, release specifications, and test results) to confirm accuracy, completeness, and compliance to ensure prompt batch disposition and release.
Confirm disposition of batch-associated nonconformances and quality events prior to batch release.
Identification and routing of documents (both paper and electronic) for corrections in cases of missing or incorrect documentation.
Work with company personnel to correct any mistakes identified during review.
Use ERP system to select the proper disposition of individual batches and notification of availability for distribution.
Generation of controlled labels utilized throughout the manufacturing and packaging process.
Review of logbooks, as needed.
