Continue to increase inspection, reading, and math skills. This may be through independent study, Suncast supplied training, or classroom work. Inform appropriate personnel from other departments about problems. Interface with outgoing and incoming shifts to convey relevant information. Assist new inspectors with training. Respond to calls from inspectors for assistance in performing their work. Promote use of Triangle Decision methods to expedite decisions. Assist the superintendent with quality concerns. Report performance or behavior concerns of inspectors to supervisor. Attend or delegate shift change meetings and convey quality issues to the group. Coordinate inspector assignments as production demands change. Support and comply with all Suncast safety policies, quality standards, and housekeeping methods at all times. Suncast policies have been developed to ensure compliance with employee law. This position does require strong leadership skills since the Lead Inspector will oversee the work of and occasionally train other Inspectors.
