Responsibilities
Representative responsibilities include the following:
Maintain surveillance, on a day-to-day basis, over the full range of field engineering activities associated with specific phases of a major military construction project.
Provide expertise and guidance concerning safety and quality assurance. Ensure adherence to safety regulations in day-to-day construction activities.
Review contractor's proposed schedules for logic, adequacy, and practicability that milestones will be met.
Review contractor's payment estimate submittals, progress measurement data, and reports of materials and equipment used.
Prepare daily activities report, which includes instruction to contractor representative, quantities of pay items placed, weather conditions, progress of construction, reasons for delay, and any unusual problems encountered.
Provide expertise and guidance concerning safety and quality assurance to all sections and personnel under the purview of the project.
Ensure compliance with environmental Best Management Practices per the contract.
Support project related outreach efforts as required.
Support construction oversight manager and Government COR/Project Manager as directed in support of construction execution.
Analyze problems and review and interpret the requirement of plans and specifications.
Monitor the layout of work and inspection of all work in progress.
Qualifications
3 to 10 years of experience and a bachelor's degree.
Education substitutions:
6 years' work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree,
associate's degree plus 4 years' work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
3 years of construction oversight experience including surveillance, monitoring, and controlling construction of all types (horizontal construction preferred), to ensure compliance with contract documents and to ensure use of proper construction materials and techniques. Experience should also include reviewing construction technical data for progress reports, preparing data for processing of pay estimates for construction projects, and enforcing construction industry and safety standards on construction projects.
One or more of the following certifications are highly preferred:
OSHA 30 Construction
Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP)
Construction Quality Management (CQM)
EM 385-1-1
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Job Summary

Responsibilities
In collaboration with the manager/director of Performance Improvement, the PI Coordinator RN is responsible for assisting in the coordination, integration, and implementation of the organization wide performance improvement activities to ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulatory and accreditation standards. Activities include but are not limited to integrity reliability review, medical chart reviews, data abstraction for CMS Core Measures and other quality outcomes studies, employing evidence-based practice; integrating best research with expertise & patient values for optimal care; working in interdisciplinary teams; application of performance improvement methodologies to minimize waste, decrease errors, increase efficiency and ultimately improve care and appropriate utilization of informatics to communicate, manage knowledge with clinical expertise and patient values for optimal care. Educates staff regarding core measures and updates regarding new and enhance indicators. * Lead the non-conformance process through final product constraints as required.
Product/Process Inspection: Conduct inspections at various production stages to ensure compliance.
* Perform process audits
* Monitor and report using the quality level of TW abrasives by random in-process inspections through the request of MFG, QA dept, Engineering, product management, customers and the sales force in all conversion operations. The use of assigned sampling tables may be required in certain situations to achieve an acceptable quality level from the inspection.
* Auditing Complete Manufacturing Order Information, such as Operation/Production Wheels Reports, Manual Testing, FPI, Scrap, Bake Cycles, Check SPC data collection, and ensuring data is within specification.
Quality Management System / Testing Plan Execution: Follow established protocols to validate product quality.
* Assist manufacturing organization in maintaining process controls or recommending procedural modifications to accomplish production and quality goals.
* Perform sample inspection when requested of orders in-process,and finished goods products per established specifications. Complete the process of the Quality Testing Plan
* Maintain a working knowledge of the Quality Management System in all product specifications such as standard operating procedures for TW produced products, packaging procedures, and quality test lab procedures.
* Monitor department reporting, ensuring its accuracy. Ensure maintenance of all appropriate records are directed, or in accordance with the records retention policy.
Performance Evaluation: Use Excel to analyze graphic control charts and statistical data.
* Must maintain a working knowledge of the Statistical Process Control system and understand the following: Pareto charts, average, mean, X-chart, Control charts, moving range chart, and machine capability studies.
Equipment Calibration: Perform routine calibration of measurement and testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Statistical Analysis: Apply basic statistical methods to interpret data and support decision-making.
