The Product Development QA Sr. Associate provides quality assurance oversight for biological starting materials (Master Seed/Cell Banks) and raw materials for immunological and biopharmaceutical products used in the research and development of veterinary medicinal products. The quality technician contributes to the quality of processes and products by performing audits, inspections, and testing. Provides production expertise to resolve quality issues within the production operation, taking corrective action to rectify nonconformance issues. Reports quality issue data and ensures the quality management system is adhered to at all stages. Inspects and tests incoming parts from supply chain companies, performs first article inspection, calibrates tools and gauges, analyzes customer returns, controls documents, and assists with disposition of nonconforming product. Primary Responsibilities: Verify that established quality and production processes are being followed through in-process quality inspections and help administer corrective actions when it is found that the processes are not being followed. Must be able to work in confined spaces as narrow as 16” in diameter. Will require working in areas up to 25 feet from the ground. Must be able to climb stairs and work in temperature ranges corresponding with the outside ambient temperatures, in welding shop environment; must be able to access all areas of the plant both inside and outside. From time to time, slightly disagreeable features; negligible/little or no exposure. Do You Qualify ... Education: High School Diploma plus AAS degree in Non Destructive Testing (NDT) preferred. Experience: 1 - 5 years related experience in welding, boiler or related manufacturing industry. Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification, and prior quality control technician experience preferred. Ability to work independently, read blueprints, welding symbols and follow ASME Section 1 code required. ASNT SNT - TC - 1A in UT or RT experience a plus. Must have excellent Microsoft Office Software/computer skills; ERP/MRP/IFS, Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred. The Engine Overhaul Technician performs maintenance, inspection, repair, and overhaul primarily on TFE 731 engines, systems, and components, and a variety of other of aircraft engines as needed. With minimal supervision, the Tech II performs work in accordance with the engine manufacturer's specifications, Duncan Aviation approved procedures, and customer specifications, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. In addition, the Tech II prepares and completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner. Essential Job Functions * With limited supervision, assists in high quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance of aircraft engines, systems, and components on a variety of aircraft engines using proper hand tools in a timely, clean, safe and professional manner with minimal rework. Orders general parts as needed. * With limited supervision, prepares various documents for record keeping purposes, as required by Company policy and FAA regulations (i.e. turnovers, engine process sheets, personal training log, etc.). Demonstrates proficiency of Duncan Aviation work order system by completing accurate and timely discrepancies and corrective action statements, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives (AD) and compliance statements. * With assistance, locates and uses appropriate technical data and follows verbal instructions when accomplishing assigned maintenance tasks. * Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
