Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in processing necessary to produce and assess products for use in clinical research and clinical trials.
Proficiently function within an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment, ensuring personal safety and product sterility.
Consistently produce accurate and clear documentation of all procedures.
Maintain required training and certifications.
Perform and document autoclaving and manufacturing preparation activities.
Help maintain the cleanliness and organizational standards of laboratory, including performing routine cleanroom cleaning events.

Job Summary
The QA Technician will perform quality assurance/utilization review duties, assist with product testing, and conduct routine inspections to provide data for use in the correction of potential problems and to meet requirements of regulatory agencies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure all cannabis and cannabis containing products produced at the facility are processed and tested in accordance with regulatory agencies
Assist QA team with sample preparation
Create and review transportation manifests/sample submission forms for test samples.
Ensure proper tracking of lab samples using appropriate systems

Review and document all test results.
Assist in monthly GMP/Sanitation/Security inspections and follow up on corrective actions

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Tissue Processing Tech position at RTI represents the primary production role at RTI. This role has a very clear and defined career path with training and development from entry-level to highly skilled biotech worker. Employees will develop technical skills in their assigned areas, an understanding of the rules and regulations that RTI administers, and the basic operating approach at RTI including reading, understanding, and following work instructions; working in a team environment; and learning to work with minimal supervision.
SHIFT:
This position offers multiple full-time shift opportunities (and shift differential pay) depending on the hiring area and need. Possible shift opportunities:
Day: 6am-2pm
Evening: 2pm-10pm (+$1.25/hr)
Night: 10pm-6am (+$2.25/hr)
Some 4/10s and Weekend (+$1.50/hr) shifts are available as needed
DAY IN THE LIFE:
Technicians arrive for their shifts and enter our locker rooms to dress in Personal Protective Equipment which includes scrubs, gloves, masks, shoe covers, and occasionally other items. After scrubbing in through an aseptic sterile technique process, technicians enter our "Core" which is comprised of several clean rooms. From there, our team is headed to different rooms for different processes. Some of our teams work on:
CNC machines which use computer-technology to precision-cut grafts
Preparing the donated tissue to be processed by other departments
Tissue sterilization and packaging
Tissue receiving, tracking, and freezing
CORE instrument and materials packaging and delivery (Materials Techs)
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs tissue processing activities that produce the highest level of quality and yield outcomes in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
Responsible for accurately processing tissue products and meeting production schedules.
Works safely, dons appropriate PPE, and applies excellent aseptic techniques in a clean room / controlled environment performing individual tasks or contributing to a team effort.
Understands requirements to properly dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
Accurately completes paperwork and performs data entry in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.

Working Conditions
Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing warehouse environment with exposure to loud noise, temperature fluctuations, dust, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and production byproducts, all within OSHA permissible limits. Work areas may include concrete surfaces, inclines, ramps, metal platforms, and uneven ground, with regular movement around machinery, equipment, tools, forklifts, and production lines. The use of designated personal protective equipment is required, and safety training is provided in accordance with OSHA regulations, company policy, and industry standards. Some tasks and work assignments may be performed outdoors or between buildings and may involve varying weather conditions and operational climates depending on production needs.

Coordinate between Veritas Steel Production and DOT Inspectors to ensure DOT witnessing of production operations and QC hold points are being completed. • Perform visual inspection of material as required. • Perform layout checks as needed.• Perform rotational capacity tests on bolts prior to use in shop.• Work with outside inspectors to resolve quality issues on the floor.• Monitor welder qualification tests.• Monitor and record welding parameters to insure compliance to approved WPS.• Be able to read and understand the Welding code and Specifications.• Perform Dimensional checks on lay downs and shop assemblies. Use Total Station as needed.• Develop improvements in the quality control process to facilitate flow of work through shop.
Primary Responsibilities: How will you accomplish the Objectives?
• Conduct audits of Quality Management System• Perform in a manner that will assure quality work flowing through the shop.• Work with welders and leadmen to maintain quality.• Be available, by use of a radio, etc. to perform needed checks.• Maintain a log of work done, and complete required reports.• Interpret the Specifications and applicable Codes.• Ability to be flexible to work either early or late within assigned shift as needed.• Coordinate inspection of QC hold points between production and DOT Inspectors.• Use and encourage safe working habits.

• Effectively communicate with the crews, supervisors, and Quality Manager the results of your work, evaluate problems, proposed acceptable corrections, solutions, and schedules.• Ability to understand and interpret blueprints, use measurement tools and techniques to verify geometric tolerances of fabricated parts and assemblies. • Strong attention to detail and ability to make informed decisions based on project codes and specifications• Coordinate your work with shipping department to assure loads have been inspected and ready to ship.• Work with supervisors to plan your work and time in each shop to facilitate the flow of quality work through the shop.• General working knowledge of Total Station to assist crews as needed and finalize assemblies during off shifts as needed.• Positive attitude to promote team morale and ability to coach employees for improved quality of workmanship
