Duties and Responsibilities
· Responsible for the receipt, preparation, analysis, and timely reporting of results from the production

Position Overview
Responsibilities May Include:
Inspection & Approval: Inspect first and final parts and materials, accepting or rejecting them based on specifications.
Documentation: Record inspection results and test data accurately; document rework including issue identification, cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Communication: Discuss inspection outcomes with production teams and collaborate with the Quality Manager on daily tasks.
Quality Assurance: Assist in achieving QA compliance and targets; develop and maintain quality procedures and controls.
Supplier & Product Assessment: Evaluate product specifications and customer requirements, including those of suppliers.
Training & Reporting: Identify quality-related training needs and assist with technical and management system reports.
Data Monitoring: Gather and analyze performance data, producing relevant statistical reports.
Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, technical documents, and manuals to ensure product quality.
Operational Oversight: Monitor production operations, recommend adjustments, and use tools such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers for measurement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality Technicians work with production operators completing inspections on the lines and completing batch record review. Includes verifying appropriate cleanings and line clearance have been performed, verifying differential pressures are within the limits, verifying labels and other quality checks in real time during production runs. Additionally, you will help lead investigations when deviations occur and support routine media fills on the BFS lines. Quality Technicians will also be completing routine inspections of the production areas and be part of the internal audit team.

SUMMARY: Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs visual inspections and physical tests utilizing equipment in Lab. Products are tested for a variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance or chemical characteristics.
Records and evaluates test data and writes reports.
Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
Enters data into computer for analysis.
Prepares certificates of analysis on finished product for our customers.
Able to use and read measuring instruments as well as operating instructions and procedure manuals.
Trial reports, inspection and tracking.
Assist QA and Technical departments in their duties.
Must take responsibility for work assigned.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Support and follow all plant Safety Rules, GMPs, and other procedural training requirements.
