Responsibilities • Inspect incoming and in-process materials, products, and manufactured components (welded, machined, assembled, and/or finished) • Use gauges, scales, vision systems, and various inspection and testing equipment to verify conformance to specifications • Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure material and product quality • Investigate and resolve quality issues, including non-conforming product reports, corrective actions, and customer feedback • Generate, review, and maintain quality documentation and inspection records • Reconcile final inspection paperwork • Assist with document control tasks, including scanning and archiving quality records • Represent the internal and external “voice of the customer” • Communicate professionally with coworkers, management, customers, vendors, and auditors • Follow all policies, manufacturing standards, work procedures, and instructions • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required • 2+ years of quality control or inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred • Strong technical background with the ability to read mechanical drawings and engineering documents • Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Specific Requirements • Experience with portable CMM equipment (articulating arm, laser tracker, etc.) • Experience using applicable inspection software • Ability to work a full-time schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with every other Friday off Pay $21 - $26 per hour (based on experience) Schedule Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Every other Friday off Nexeo Benefits • Refer a Friend Bonus | Other financial incentives (bonuses). • Weekly Pay | Direct deposit | Rapid pay card options. • Employee of the Month recognition. • Hassle-Free Job Search: A dedicated Nexeo recruiter will assist you throughout your job search.
