Summary/Objective
As a member of the technical staff, the Industrial Engineer (IE) finds ways to prevent waste and inefficiencies in production processes. The IE designs efficient systems that integrate workers, information, machines, energy, and materials to make products or provide services. The IE also designs equipment to coordinate production planning to minimize production issues and costs while ensuring products meet quality standards. They will design, develop and maintain manufacturing routes to maximize effectiveness, efficiency and space. The IE ensures the company complies with all industry standards for safety while meeting design standards and guidelines. They work in a support role as needed on less complex projects.

ABOUT THE POSITION
The primary purpose of this position is to supervise personnel performing in-process and final quality inspections on Space, Aircraft, and Defense..
Responsibilities
Your core responsibilites consist of:

Essential Job Functions:

Stop any production which may be questionable in terms of Food Safety and immediately alert a member of the management team.
Maintain accurate, legible records of all tests and retests performed. Complete all other required reports (work orders, action reports, etc.) in a timely manner.
Perform analytical tests required to qualify ingredient batches for production.
Perform production line checks at specified intervals.
Ensure accurate test results by maintaining proper operation and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Maintain laboratory cleanliness at all times.
Report all out of specification results to designated leadership.

ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you provide key support in actively improving and driving processes and productivity. This position will support production of battery manufacturing, as well as improve and support current manufacturing, documentation and processes metrics. As a Welding Engineer/ Welding Educator at EaglePicher, you will be a subject matter expert for welding at multiple manufacturing sites performing high-reliability resistance, fusion, and ultrasonic joining operations. Education/Experience

Essential Job Functions:

ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Welding Engineer/ Welding Educator at EaglePicher, you will be a subject matter expert for welding at multiple manufacturing sites performing high-reliability resistance, fusion, and ultrasonic joining operations. Processes include gas-tungsten arc and laser beam fusion welding, micro resistance spot welding, brazing, and ultrasonic joining on a variety of challenging materials. You will provide input on new product designs as it relates to welding, develop, and qualify new welding processes, spec and implement equipment, support failure investigations, and conduct company-wide welding training and certification.
Responsibilities
Be the welding subject matter expert for multiple sites
Provide input on new product designs to ensure proper material selection, joint design, and welding requirements are defined early in the design process
Develop and qualify/validate new welding processes and welding procedures including tooling
Write technical reports documenting qualification of processes and procedures
Research, spec, implement, and qualify new welding methods and equipment
Help support complex weld-related failure investigations and troubleshooting
Coordinate and conduct welding training and certifications for multiple sites
Mentor and train other welding and manufacturing process engineers.
Participate in audits of shop floor processes and improvement efforts.
Qualifications
Hiring Requirements:
