What you'll do on a typical day:
Identify facility design requirements based on activity levels, product dimensional profiles and product flow and transportation methods

Product Quality Manager
Position Summary
ANDRITZ is seeking a seasoned Quality professional with significant experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control for project-based engineered equipment. The ideal candidate will bring deep welding knowledge, strong familiarity with industry codes (AWS, ASME), and hands-on expertise supporting fabrication for pulp & paper, chemical, power, and related industrial applications. Welding experience is the #1 qualification for this position. Candidates must meet this requirement to proceed.
Top Priority Qualifications (Must-Have)
Extensive welding experience supporting industrial fabrication and equipment manufacturing.
Working knowledge of AWS Codes (especially AWS D1.1, D1.6) - required.
Knowledge of metals including carbon steel, stainless, duplex, and alloy materials; welding of structural and pressure-part fabrication - required.
Working knowledge of ASME Codes (especially ASME Section V, IX) - desired.
CWI Certification and ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level II in any NDE method - preferred.
Principal Duties
Lead and manage all Quality Assurance activities for assigned engineered equipment projects.
Develop Quality Monitoring Plans for large, multi-fabrication projects.
Create and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for equipment and supplier deliverables.
Audit, evaluate, and qualify global suppliers-including Asia and Europe.
Provide technical support to engineering and project management regarding quality requirements.
Communicate quality expectations across internal departments and with customers.
Implement controls to ensure quality compliance across all equipment and components.
Coordinate inspections of structural, mechanical, welded, and machined parts.
Manage third-party inspectors and cross-division ANDRITZ inspection resources.
Review supplier quality programs, documentation, NCRs, and provide stakeholder feedback.
Support root cause analysis, corrective action processes, and supplier improvement initiatives.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering (Master's is a plus).
Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality or Project Management in pulp & paper, power, metals, chemical, or process industries, or within a large fabrication environment.
Strong working knowledge of machining, surface preparation, and mechanical testing.
Ability to perform dimensional inspections and verify compliance during multiple fabrication stages.
Experience with supplier auditing - preferred.
Experience with failure analysis and RCA - preferred.
Knowledge of pulp & paper equipment - preferred.
Ability to travel internationally (Asia and Europe).
Work Environment

About the Role
How you will contribute
* Manage and analyze data from customers and internal sources as input for problem solving and communicate/report to appropriate personnel. Interacts with staff within the location and within the Company and all customer and prospective customer representatives.
* Directly supervises Quality functions and staff across all shifts and provides consistent direction of the company's quality plans.
* Administer all projects and documentation relative to assigned processes (i.e. operator instructions, PFMEA's and process control plans).
* Develop and design irreversible corrective actions for known problems. Use established problem solving techniques to reduce process variation.
* Manage quality processes and reports - 3rd party sorts, suspect material, damage material etc. - Suspect Material - maintain relationships with suppliers to deal with suspect material.
* Champion Lean engineering goals. Includes being an aid in developing, implementing and maintaining a Lean culture within the organization using a hands-on approach in order to provide input on processes from a quality perspective.
* Responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of the Quality System. Reports to Management on effectiveness of the Quality System.
* Generate, interpret, analyze, and communicate results using management tools, graphs, and reports; actively coach the organization concerning quality with tools and reports.
* Provide input on document enhancement and retention; Maintain ISO documentation and controls, administer activities required to maintain ISO certification, and actively coach the organization for maintaining ISO system.

**Role Definition**
Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to support ongoing switchgear assembly operations and new project launch. This role is critical to ensuring product quality, process compliance, and successful new project ramp-up.

+ Perform in-process and final inspections of custom switchgear and standard control assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
Performs duties associated with Quality (including but not limited to): (50%)
Reviews operational records in association with tasks trained and assigned to ensure they are complete, accurate and compliant with cGMP requirements.
Tracks deviations in operating procedures and policies through established mechanisms. Reports error, deficiencies, discrepancies and observations to center management and Quality Management Representative (QMR).
Conducts monthly quality assurance audits for critical control points and key elements for the systems related to donor suitability, source plasma collection, sample collection, plasma storage, product release, quality assurance, and employee training program.
Ensures SOP's are current and that staff perform routine tasks according to SOP through direct observation.
In the absence of a QMR, works in collaboration with the management team to prepare for and host (if needed) internal auditors and external inspectors. Assists center management teams to ensure timely closure of observations.
Maintain qualifications and perform all duties (core and elective) for Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas. Train new and existing staff on donor center procedures through demonstration, instruction, observation, and feedback. (30%)
Provide leadership and training assistance in support of center management and supervisory team, including oversight of operational flow. (10%)
Maintain certification and perform all required duties of Lead Technician. (10%)

Proficiency in personal computers, especially word processing software, spreadsheets, presentation, and database software.
Ability to learn quickly and maintain the Quality Assurance metrics
Knowledge of ISO standards or the ability to quickly learn and retain knowledge as required for system compliance
Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly and to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be organized and can follow a systematic method of performing tasks and the ability to organize and direct a project to completion

The Role
We are seeking a hands-on Industrial Engineer / Process Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry to support process improvement, efficiency projects, and productivity initiatives. This role focuses on optimizing manufacturing operations, reducing waste, improving throughput, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.
This role will report to the Director of Engineering.
What You'll Work On
Review and document current manufacturing processes to find ways to improve efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost. Analyze daily operations, create and update various production layouts.
Develop and update regularly all production metrics like throughput, standard staffing and quality parameters.
Design and implement process improvements that increase yield, reduce waste, improve cycle times, eliminate bottlenecks, and support smooth operations-all while meeting food safety and quality standards.
Partner with Operations, Quality, and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Lead or support new equipment installations and modifications for the engineering department -from concept to start-up.
Use data analysis and statistics to find bottlenecks, process variation, and improvement opportunities, then apply data-driven solutions to boost efficiency.
Troubleshoot production issues collaboratively, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in engineering field like Industrial, Manufacturing or mechanical.
Relevant 2-4 years of food manufacturing or CPG industry experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical recommendations in layman's terms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and process modeling tools.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement tools.
Experience with process mapping, time studies, and root cause analysis.

Technical writing ability and knowledge of document & configuration control.
Prepare reports and summaries of corrective action status.
Support internal and external audits by providing corrective action documentation and objective evidence.
Recommend process improvements to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.
Provide training and guidance to employees on corrective action and best practices.
Monitor trends in non-conformances and proactively address recurring issues.
Perform quality system and process audits.
Perform product inspections and nonconformance dispositions.
Experience with QT9 QMS a plus.
