Responsibilities:
- Inspects raw materials, parts, component, and finished product for compliance with dimensional and performance specifications using established inspection plans.
- Use handheld measuring equipment and with working knowledge of at least 1 advanced measurement system (e.g., CMMs, optical comparators).
- Statistical sampling using an inspector's rule.
- Read comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Documents inspection observations and reports non-conformances in the computer system.
- Use ERP computer system.
- Operate forklifts.
- Safely lift and transport up to 50 lbs. over short distances.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Availability for shift work and overtime as needed
- Close vision (corrected or uncorrected) with peripheral, depth perception and color vision capability
- Three years of on-the-job experience
- Ability to write simple correspondence

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team and be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of our products and procedures through rigorous inspections, implementation of quality control measures, and identification of areas for improvement. The selected Quality Inspector will have responsibility for the following areas:
Develops and initiates methods and procedures for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
Devises sampling procedures; supervises the design of forms for recording quality checks and preparation of instructions for these procedures.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to building high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Prepares and offers constructive criticism relative to variables and deviations from prescribed standards of quality.
Maintains metrics (charts, graphs, and statistical records) having to do with quality, causes of defects, and their corrective measures.
Works with the Engineering Department to define and document inspection and test processes.
During reviews, ensures that related quality considerations are well defined and documented in a quality plan. Works with engineering to evaluate drawings, specifications, and changes during the formative stages of the production process design for factors affecting quality, reliability, safety, production, and operation of the product.
Coordinates with customers to notify them of production nonconformances.
Conducts thorough inspections of incoming goods and materials. Ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Work closely with all stakeholders in various departments.
Hands-on in our labs and production floor working with our technicians.
Certifies to our customers that our deliverable products meet all program requirements.
Performs other duties, as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum three (3) + years quality experience.
A good understanding of GD&T.
Knowledge of AS9100D and ISO 9001.
Writing and communication skills with experience contributing to and/or making technical presentations to internal and external customers.
A desire to work in a fast-paced work environment with a motivated team that prides itself on its attention to detail, agility, and ability to execute.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to be a team player.
Excellent computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with first article inspections (FAI) using AS9102 requirements and document results.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
College/Technical degree or equivalent technical/professional certificate.
J-STD and IPC-A-610 certification highly desired.
Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role.
Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies.
Knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM output review, gauges).
Knowledge of TipQA/CostPoint ERP systems.
CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY CLEARANCE:
U.S. Citizenship required. Must be eligible to obtain and/or maintain a Secret security clearance. Active clearance is preferred.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Control Inspector with a minimum of 5 years of expertise in the fire protection industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products and installations adhere to the highest standards. Responsibilities: Conduct Quality Inspections:
Performing Quality Checks on inspections that have been performed on Kitchen Fire Protection Systems and Fire Extinguishers
Ensure that inspections and installations comply with state and NFPA codes and regulations.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of inspection findings, documenting any deviations or non-compliance issues.
Generate comprehensive reports daily that will be distributed to employees and their managers.
Collaboration:
Work closely with Operation Managers, Supervisors, and service and installation teams to address quality concerns, provide guidance on corrective actions, and improve our quality standard.
Provide consultations with techs and suggested follow up training when needed.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Training and Development:
Provide training to inspection teams on quality control standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Stay informed about industry advancements and changes in codes and standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience within the fire protection and life safety systems industry. Experience with Kitchen Suppression Systems and Fire Extinguishers is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of relevant codes and standards (i.e. NFPA, local building codes).
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
