Job Summary and Qualifications
You will, under the direction of the Vice President of Quality/ Risk, be responsible for providing organizational assistance and guidance with performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and survey readiness functions at MountainView Hospital
You shall develop and maintain standards in conjunction with the medical staff and Administration, and shall facilitate support services to the medical staff peer review process
You shall provide consultation relative to the development of generic and department-specific screens which shall meet Joint Commission, CMS and regulatory requirements
You will be involved in hospital-wide performance improvement projects
What qualifications you will need:
ASN Required with current enrollment in BSN program required
Bachelor's degree, MSN or other healthcare related degree strongly preferred
Registered Nurse licensed in State of Nevada required
Prior nursing experience in L&D, NICU or Mother-Baby is preferred
3 years recent experience in quality management preferred
Skills: Proven ability to review, analyze and interpret data
Understanding and ability to teach nursing theory
Basic computer and hospital informatics skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with Meditech desirable

How you will make an impact:
