ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform calibration, verification, and functional checks on a variety of instruments and equipment (e.g., pressure, temperature, dimensional, electrical, torque, and flow devices) Maintain and update calibration records, certificates, and traceability documentation in accordance with internal quality procedures Identify and segregate equipment found out of tolerance Coordinate repairs or adjustments with internal teams or external vendors Develop and maintain calibration schedules to ensure on-time service for all equipment Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for measurement-related nonconformances Work with quality and engineering teams to define calibration requirements for new or modified equipment Ensure all calibration activities meet relevant standards (e.g., NIST traceability, ISO/IEC 17025, or customer-specific requirements) Assist in audit preparation and provide technical support during internal and external audits. Maintain a clean, organized calibration area and follow all safety protocols and environmental procedures EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Education: Associate's degree in Metrology, Engineering Technology, Physics, or related technical field (or equivalent experience) Experience: 5+ years performing calibrations or working in a metrology or testing environment Familiarity with measurement principles, uncertainty, and common standards for dimensional, electrical, or mechanical calibration Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and equipment manuals Strong computer skills and experience with calibration management software (e.g., GAGEtrak, IndySoft, or similar) Excellent attention to detail, recordkeeping, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Individuals must be able to perform the duties of the job at a level as generally prescribed and learned by attaining the credentials below. This role focuses on continuous monitoring of the quality of our parts and processes throughout our manufacturing lines. You will conduct product-level testing and measurement, work with manufacturing and supplier engineering teams to identify and root cause manufacturing problems, validate new parts and processes, and manage non-conforming material. What You'll Do Perform measurements and testing of incoming material as part of our incoming quality control process Execute our manufacturing quality control plan by regularly testing parts and auditing processes and equipment Identify and manage non-conforming material throughout the manufacturing process, including quarantining of material, repair, and disposition Identify and investigate process abnormalities and excursions, working with process and equipment engineering teams to root cause issues and implement corrective actions Conduct process trials and design of experiments (DoEs) with cross-functional engineering teams to validate process and part improvements What You'll Bring 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or test lab environment or equivalent educational background in Mechanical/electrical engineering or similar.
