Responsibilities:
Assist with general maintenance projects that include, but are not limited to: light carpentry, painting, concrete repairs, landscaping, and pressure washing.
Ensure that all pools are chemically balanced for operations according to codes/standards set by the Cobb County Health Department and park management
Conduct thorough pre-opening inspections of all pools, slide structures, and attractions
Maintain accurate inspection records and keep all daily reporting logs of work performed
Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment when working with chemicals.
Ensure all attractions are clean and in compliance with manufacturer's specifications and company expectations.
Payrate: up to $18/hr. (depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications)
Qualifications:
This position will be required to work various shifts as project and park needs dictate. Nights, weekends, and holidays (during summer months) are required. Waterpark Season: February through September.
40hrs per week with the possibility of working for our other park, Six Flags Over Georgia for other open department roles for August through April.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform various release criteria tests, using defined guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), to determine if materials/goods are acceptable for release. Compare test results for compliance with company and regulatory requirements, record results, and notify management of out-of-specification tests and trends. Inspect and ensure supplies received in the warehouse that are used in the production and/or packaging of tissue products and finished goods meet quality standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Perform well-defined, standardized microbial tests on donor culture samples, environmental samples and related supplies:
* Microbiological identification of bacterial and fungal growth in/on both liquid and plate media; subculturing and identification of microorganisms to determine acceptability based on sample type
* Media suitability tests (i.e. growth promotion and sterility) to ensure incoming media (both liquid and plate media) used to grow bacteria/fungi are not contaminated and are able to sustain microbial growth
* Conduct physical inspections of raw materials (e.g. gowns, gloves, instruments, etc.) and finished goods (e.g. packaging, labels, marketing materials, etc.) received in the warehouse, per guidelines outlined in SOP's or material specifications
* Compare findings of test results to established guidelines; identify reasons for failure and retest as permitted; initiate investigation for any failed test (i.e. out-of-specification result)
* Assist in investigations, corrective actions/preventive actions (CAPA's), document changes, trending, etc. by providing requested information and implementing defined, corrective measures
* Document and record results of tests in internal database
* Perform preventive maintenance and equipment cleaning (e.g. incubators, refrigerators, carbon analyzers, etc.) used to perform quality control tests and/or in the manufacture of tissue products, as scheduled
* Conduct well-defined, standardized testing of processing suites, water systems and manufactured products, such as:
* Monitoring of controlled environmental areas (CEA), testing of air and surfaces for the presence of organisms and free-floating particulate to ensure required standards are met
* Water tests to monitor levels of bioburden, total organic carbon, and conductivity from all water ports used in the manufacture/sterilization of tissue products and equipment
* Residual moisture tests on tissue products to ensure moisture levels in products are at acceptable levels
* For testing not conducted in-house, send samples to approved contract labs and review results for acceptability

All below listed responsibilities must be completed in compliance with federal, state, local and company-specific regulations related to quality of product, employee and donor safety, and to the proper performance of day-to-day activities. ACCOUNTABILITIES
Performs duties associated with Quality (including but not limited to): (50%)
Reviews operational records in association with tasks trained and assigned to ensure they are complete, accurate and compliant with cGMP requirements.
Tracks deviations in operating procedures and policies through established mechanisms. Reports error, deficiencies, discrepancies and observations to center management and Quality Management Representative (QMR).
Conducts monthly quality assurance audits for critical control points and key elements for the systems related to donor suitability, source plasma collection, sample collection, plasma storage, product release, quality assurance, and employee training program.
Ensures SOP's are current and that staff perform routine tasks according to SOP through direct observation.
In the absence of a QMR, works in collaboration with the management team to prepare for and host (if needed) internal auditors and external inspectors. Assists center management teams to ensure timely closure of observations.
Maintain qualifications and perform all duties (core and elective) for Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas. Train new and existing staff on donor center procedures through demonstration, instruction, observation, and feedback. (30%)
Provide leadership and training assistance in support of center management and supervisory team, including oversight of operational flow. (10%)
Maintain certification and perform all required duties of Lead Technician. (10%)

These include maintaining all HACCP, food safety records, plant audits, mock recall programs and training the plant on these issues and procedures. Performs testing to validate the microbiological quality of current and new ingredients, suppliers, and packages. Provides test data to assure the production of high quality products. Tests current and new concentrate ingredients in process and finished concentrates, and beverages products in development and finished products. The QC Technician will also work with the R&D Team on new product launches.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knowledge of all cleaning agents and applications, external, internal, cleaners, and sanitizers.
Properly document and follow all procedures set forth in the frequency guide and standards.
Ability to properly fill out batch reports, calculate variations in batch sizes, proper attributes, standards, and other data required on batch report documented per formula.
Ability to properly measure and follow proper mixing procedures.
Ability to evaluate and troubleshoot batch and make corrections.
Ability to perform all testing, evaluations, and documentation of results while following procedures.
Ability to troubleshoot and take corrective action on the line.
Ability to properly prepare batch tanks for batching, tank rinsing, tank sanitation, odor, and tasting.
Full knowledge and capabilities to perform internal pest control program, location of stations, checking and cleaning of stations, and proper documentation on hand of pest control program.
Assist supervisors in resolving Quality Control issues, tracking quality trends, recommending and implementing plans to improve quality and production efficiency.
Responsible for compliance with Federal and State legislation by establishing and enforcing quality standards; testing materials and product.
Ability to collect, analyze and summarize process quality information and trends.
Computer literacy required with proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word.
