Job Type: Full Time Pay Rate: Based on experience
This is a Full Time position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, in San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Department is currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to support daily waterpark and main park operations, regarding water quality; ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all guests and employees. Additionally, this person will support the Landscape Team in enhancing and maintaining park grounds and gardens in an appealing and healthy state, while promoting a safe working environment, eliminating hazards and meeting our guest service standards.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT:
Assures the water chemistry in all areas of the waterpark is tested, recorded and adjusted (if necessary) on an hourly basis during periods of operation.
Backwashes all filters when required and maintains the proper level of water in all pools.
Closes or shuts down any features for safety and/or emergency situations.
Maintains a clean and safe environment in and around the water activity areas which includes: Pre-Opening Safety Checks performed on pools, water features and slides on operating days, pre-opening cleaning of pools and surrounding areas on a pre-determined schedule, end of the day cleanup in all areas of the waterpark, maintaining cleanliness of walkways, pool decks and landscape areas, management of bio-spills.
Ride start-up and shut down dependent upon work schedule.
Repair/maintenance of all rides and features during operating as well as non-operating seasons.
Adheres to guest-first standards at all times.
Coordinates daily schedules and activities of Seasonal Water Quality Techs
Assists in safety and SOP training of Seasonal Water Quality Techs
Administrative duties such as time and attendance and seasonal labor management.
Assures safety and equipment inspections are performed on a daily basis.
Assists other Departments and Divisions in daily operations of the Water Park.
Maintaining water features and fountains in the Main Park.
Installation and maintenance of landscapes in both Fiesta Texas and Whitewater Bay including but not limited to lawns, trees, plants, and pavers.
Work directly with crew(s) on assigned tasks on daily basis
Provide technical leadership in the trade area and ensure that generally accepted trade practices are adhered to in all applications.
Upkeep and maintenance of Landscape equipment and vehicles
Application of herbicides and insecticides
Perform general landscape duties planting, pruning, mowing,
Knowledge of plant material for seasonal color
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license required, or must acquire within six months - Company Funded
Water quality and / or previous supervisory skills a plus
Must possess a valid Driver's License and be at least 18 years of age
Must have knowledge of installation and maintenance of irrigation system
A strong sense of teamwork and a positive attitude.
Knowledge of pumps, filters and related equipment.
OTHER NOTES:
May perform other duties beyond scope of above as necessary to support the park as a whole

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Quality Technician is responsible for driving the 80 Acres Farms quality and food safety program across all processes at the farm. With strong knowledge of 80 Acres Farms Food Safety and Quality procedures the Quality Technician will perform process audits, product monitoring and verification checks, shelf-life evaluations and collection of food safety and quality data as applicable. What a typical day looks like:
Audits processes, tests and inspects products and/or develops, compiles and evaluates statistical data to define and maintain quality and reliability of products.
Working from engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, diagrams, written descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform complex engineering testing, checkout, First Article Inspection, root cause research, internal corrective actions and supplier correction actions.
Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to define quality and reliability standards.
Selects processes to be audited from primarily the manufacturing areas and checks for a variety of features, including ESD (electro-static discharge) and handling practices, documentation, training and process integrity.
Selects products for audits at specified stages in the production or post-production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance and mechanical, electrical or cosmetic characteristics.
Records audit data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards, programs or reports to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
Perform calibration on inspection tools e.g. micrometers, calipers height gages etc.
Maintain gage track program, print list of gages due for calibration in the beginning of each month and follow up with calibration.
Send gages out for calibration, maintain calibration records.
Prepares graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for research data.
Download quality information from quality system to be used for QA reports.
Research for engineering test results and implements process changes to resolve problems.
Performs out of box audits (OBA) as required.
Provides factory hold up to identify and resolve issues associated with purchased parts, materials and manufacturing.
May be required to perform receiving inspection.
Review at the beginning of the shift the Quality Auditors assistance and validated the Check List.
Scrap disposition at MRB in less than 24 hours.
Assure that the Customer implementation activities are in place.
Meet the SSYMA requirements (boats, goggles, gloves, ear plugs).
Review the SPC data and confirm the actions are effective.
Validate the tooling and gauges are working properly (microscope, magnifier, etc).
Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, technical training, or equivalent experience.
Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Quality Technician is responsible for driving the 80 Acres Farms quality and food safety program across all processes at the farm. With strong knowledge of 80 Acres Farms Food Safety and Quality procedures the Quality Technician will perform process audits, product monitoring and verification checks, shelf-life evaluations and collection of food safety and quality data as applicable. The Quality Technician will be responsible for on-time identification and escalation of food safety and quality issues at the farm level, assist in food safety and quality training, support implementation of corrective actions, conduct and participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects.

Key responsibilities and duties:
Monitor and verify compliance with food safety and quality programs and procedures on a day-to-day basis.
Evaluate and document effectiveness of cleaning and sanitation of equipment prior to start-up. Verify general areas are maintained in sanitary conditions throughout operations shifts.
Evaluate product adherence to specification at different stages in the process, including harvest, mixing, and packing.
Collect environmental and product samples in compliance with schedule.
Collect and evaluate shelf-life samples in compliance with schedule.
Verify and calibrate food safety and quality metric monitoring devices such as metal detector, scales, and temperature recorders.
Monitor and verify implementation of corrective actions at the farm level.
Ensure farm compliance with food safety regulations.
Support continuous improvement projects as needed.
In addition to the primary responsibilities outlined for this role, team members will also support production operations as needed. This may include hands-on tasks within our production environment to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
