Assist in identifying root causes of process disruptions and provide real-time solutions to avoid downtime. Support the Process Engineer in implementing process improvements and validating results. Participate in start-up, shutdown, and changeover procedures for our machines. Record accurate data related to process performance, quality, and downtime. Assist maintenance and production teams during troubleshooting and equipment adjustments. Train operators on proper techniques and process control standards when needed. Participate in kaizen events, 5S initiatives, and other continuous improvement efforts. Experience required 3+ year experience in a manufacturing environment; experience with molded fiber or paper-based processes is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of chemical dosing and ability to operate HMIs. Ability to interpret process control data and make appropriate adjustments. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and adapt to changing priorities.
