Demonstrates new or revised techniques, procedures and equipment. 4. May perform radiologic procedures, as required. 5. Performs special procedures including diagnostic and interventional radiography (e.g., C.T., M.R.I., and Mammography). 6. Recommends area assignment of personnel to coordinate activities within the department with other activities and services and represents the department in interdepartmental operations and meetings. 7. Participates in quality assurance activities, including coordination, control and maintenance of technical equipment. 8. Participates in and coordinates procurement and storage of supplies and makes recommendations regarding supply and equipment needs. 9. All Radiologic Technologists in Assignment Levels II and III shall receive a differential of $7,500 per annum to be cross-trained on different modalities of radiologic imaging and to be cross-assigned (once trained) to different imaging settings depending on patient volume and staffing needs within a facility.

Requirements/Skills: * High School Diploma or GED * Formal Radiological Technology training from an accredited school. * Previous experience as a Radiological Technologist preferred. * Previous experience with PACS, RIS, EMR, CR,OR,ER,DRX, CT and Meditech preferred. * A valid NYS Radiological Technologist license required. * Registered through A.R.R.T.
