Part of Omnicom's Precision Marketing Group, RAPP is comprised of 2,000+ creatives, technologists, strategists, and data and marketing scientists across 15+ global markets YOUR ROLE: The Associate Director will assist in leading the Experience Analytics functional area by creating a holistic view of clients marketing performance through measurement and reporting to optimize and inform development of innovative solutions to business and marketing problems. Under the direction of the Senior Director of Experience Analytics, this individual will manage a team of analysts and collaborate across internal multi-disciplinary teams to develop actionable insights from all campaign results in order to optimize CRM performance and strategy based on data driven results and insights. This position drives best in class applications for developing learning plans and test design, identifying KPIs based on objectives, analytics plans, results and optimization recommendations for all client campaigns while maintaining analytical rigor. This candidate is expected to continuously seek out, learn about and actively use new technologies, tools and methodologies and be able to apply this experience to innovate new solutions aligned with client needs. Resourcefulness, curiosity, passion and fearlessness are required traits of all departmental employees. The Associate Director plays a critical role to shape data-informed strategic frameworks, from alignment to client objectives to test design to measurable outcomes and attribution methodology that builds a business case through results and ROI. This individual is responsible for evolving best in class output, analytical rigor, innovation around campaign and media analytics, and insights generation for RAPP clients. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: * Lead to develop best in class applications of analytics for all clients and across the enterprise * Leads and collaborates within Account, Strategy and Technology disciplines to produce actionable insights for our client(s) on prospect behavior based on campaign results and analysis, both from individual campaigns and at an aggregate/historical level. * Collaborates with subject matter experts in the CRM and Data Science space to develop measurement plans and reporting for all initiatives ensuring proper KPI assignment, data collection, test and learn plans, and targeting in order to produce data driven intelligence from campaigns and programs. * Crafts innovative data and analytics representations that allow insights to be easily understood and extracted from large amounts of data and analytical output. * Develops methodologies that informs component (creative, format, target, offer, message) analysis optimization based on test design and in-depth analysis by campaign or cross-campaign. * Drives strategy and communication plans through lateral thinking, knowledge of results, customer behavior, meaningful data insights and the use of innovative forecasting and insight tools * Connect multiple data source inputs (including first party data and third party research) to produce performance reports, advise segmentation and assist in benchmarking analysis and historical performance. * Develop observations and insights around campaign results for optimization of CRM and omni-channel performance marketing campaigns. * Lead to ensure analytics rigor in all areas of analytics. * Lead in analytics innovation of Visualization or other forms of presenting analytical results and insights. * Lead in the development, standardization and implementation of measurement plans for the agency. * Leverage CRM platforms to assist in measurement and enablement of all direct marketing programs (email, SMS, etc.) * Lead in the coordination of Enablement to automate campaign reporting. * Ensure development of appropriate tools, skill-sets, methodology and innovation across the analytics discipline. * Develop and codify packages of analytics products developed through RAPP. * Enterprise wide training seminars and integration of other RAPP offices. * Training / mentoring within department on analytical methods and new technology. * Train and develop staff to produce actionable insights around campaign results through collaboration with Strategy teams. * Attract, nurture and retain the best talent. REQUIRED SKILLS and experience: * 6-8 years direct marketing analytical experience. * 3-5 years of experience in CRM, email and analyzing digital campaigns. * Agency experience a plus. * Extensive knowledge of database marketing principles * Expert knowledge of marketing mathematical tools and methods, direct marketing test and learn plans, ROI and measurement plans. * Extensive knowledge of Direct Marketing metrics, especially digital and emerging media * Extensive knowledge of direct marketing principles and best in class methodologies * Working knowledge of databases and structure * Working knowledge of statistical methods and tools * Ability to translate complex data into a communicable, actionable and insightful narrative. * Proficient knowledge with data visualization tools: Power BI, Datorama, Tableau. * Proficient knowledge with web analytics and publisher UI tools: Google Analytics, Campaign Manager, DSPs, Adobe Analytics. * Proficient knowledge with database and marketing automation tools: SQL, Statistical Programming (R or Python), Machine Learning, GenAI, etc. * Proficient knowledge with CRM and Email 1P data. * Strong analytical skills * Strong communication skills Our hybrid work model: RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees.
