Responsibilities
As a tutor with Catapult Learning, you will:
* Diagnose learning skill deficits and delivers prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company
* Consult with school personnel to coordinate efforts in providing services to students
* Communicate and conference with parents providing information on student progress
* Deliver prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company
* Attend training sessions and deliver designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills to students through the utilization of Company-designed materials and educational strategies.
* Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
* Ensure supervision of students, including escorting students safely to and from sessions.
* Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
* Attend and document meetings/training with Company Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
* Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies.
* Other duties as assigned.

Peak Potential Therapy is seeking caring, dependable, and fun-loving individuals to work as a Behavior Technician (BT) with kids with special needs under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Peak Potential Therapy has multiple openings for BTs to provide appropriate academic, behavioral and emotional support to clients with disabilities or behaviors. A BT with Peak Potential Therapy is a one-on-one instructor responsible for the day-to-day teaching and implementation of the client's academic and behavior programs. Peak Potential Therapy's programming is based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). All RBTs must be trained in these principles and are expected to implement them throughout client sessions.
No training or certification (RBT & CPR) required upon hire, but necessary to start working. All Behavior Technicians (BTs) are required to obtain the RBT certification within 30-days of hire. Assistance is provided for obtaining the RBT certification.
Multiple shifts (part and full-time) are available between 8:00 am to 7:00 pm daily. Most of the hours will be at our therapy center in Northfield, OH. However, we do serve families in their home, school, or community in the greater Cleveland - Akron communities.
Responsibilities and Duties
Working as a Direct Support Staff requires following the direction of the BCBA, taking data on ABA program targets, and IEP objectives. Teach and engage in a variety of activities to progress the kids' skills in social, cognitive, communication, self-care, and more.
Establish & maintain the therapeutic relationship by pairing self as a reinforcing entity and building the value for the client of social interaction
Prompt safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors, in order to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills
Work with others to improve the effectiveness of service delivery
Perform any additional duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor
Complete parent communication by providing information of activities completed throughout the day, toileting information, eating information, and information on any behavioral occurrences

Essential Duties + Responsibilities
Support of the school's mission, vision, core values, goals and policies
Interact and communicate respectfully with all stakeholders.
Establish a classroom culture of high expectations and compassion for all children.
Follow the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators and the Ohio Standards of the Teaching Profession
Lead a multiage group of students in grades 5-8 using the model-adopted curriculums to guide daily instruction including: Responsive Classroom, en Vision Mathematics.
Implementation of the Ohio Standards of Learning in mathematics according to the provided curriculum map
Effectively deliver, and in some instances design, developmentally appropriate lesson plans that reflect observations and goals of individual children.
Ensure the success of each student through clear and consistent record-keeping, differentiated instruction, and timely and specific individual feedback.
Work with colleagues and school leadership to frequently examine student data for ongoing refinement of instruction and assessment.
Share best practices with other teachers and collaborate with them to improve instructional and assessment practices.
Facilitate parent/guardian communications and conferences to discuss student progress.
Keep the classroom environment organized and safe.
Engage regularly in professional learning opportunities to better instruction.
Maintain consistent, reliable, dependable attendance and a professional attitude.
Devote full attention and time to teaching responsibilities and such other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in education or equivalent experience
Ohio Middle Childhood 4-9 or Adolescent to Young Adult 7-12 Math License or working towards licensure.

Starting Salary Range: $45,000 - $52,000 (with licensure)

Overview:
Whitehall City Schools is seeking dependable and flexible Building Substitute Teachers to serve in a consistent daily role at one assigned school building for the duration of the academic year. Building Substitutes are expected to report to their assigned building every day school is in session.
Responsibilities:
Report to the assigned school building each scheduled school day.
Provide classroom coverage in the absence of a regular teacher or when another substitute is already assigned.
Support student learning and maintain a positive classroom environment in accordance with school policies and teacher lesson plans.
Assist with other instructional or supervisory duties as needed throughout the building.
Collaborate with building administrators and staff to ensure continuity of instruction and student support.
