Full-time Description The Staff Professional / Staff Engineer supports engineering, geotechnical, and environmental projects by performing field observations, testing, analysis, reporting, and project coordination tasks. This position requires technical aptitude, a strong commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to work effectively in both field and office settings under the supervision of senior staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Field Observation and Testing Perform field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, asphalt, and other materials in accordance with applicable ASTM standards (e.g., ASTM D1557, D6938, C39, C231, etc.). Observe and document construction practices for compliance with approved project plans, specifications, and applicable codes. Operate specialized testing equipment such as nuclear density gauges, penetrometers, and concrete testing apparatus. Documentation and Reporting Accurately document all field observations and test results using proper English grammar and technical writing practices. Prepare clear, concise field and laboratory reports in a timely manner for internal review and client submission.
