Responsibilities
What you will do:
Assist with the design and layout of roadway alignments, both horizontal and vertical, for real-world transportation projects
Get involved in key aspects of roadway design, including geometry, drainage, signage, pavement markings, and maintenance of traffic
Help develop construction plan sets, gaining experience in how projects are prepared for bidding and construction
Perform quantity calculations to support bid plan development and construction cost estimates
Explore additional areas like pavement analysis, design, and utility coordination for a well-rounded experience
Take on a variety of project support tasks, learning how transportation engineering projects come to life from concept to construction
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Who you are:
Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering
0-4 years of relevant experience, such as internships, co-ops, academic projects, or entry-level engineering roles
