    HVAC VDC/BIM Manager Salary: $150k to $160k + Package About the Role: We are seeking a skilled VDC/BIM HVAC Design Engineer to join our dynamic MEP design and construction team in West Palm Beach. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HVAC system design, Revit modeling, and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) processes. Summary of Job Functions Collaborate effectively with Stakeholders, Project Managers, Software Engineers, Data Architects, Data Analysts, QA Analysts, DBAs and other Data Engineers Build and maintain data pipelines based on functional and architectural specifications Ensure that data pipelines incorporate best practices related to high performance, fault tolerance, instrumentation, logging and data driven functionality Ensure that data pipelines are scalable, maintainable, extensible, and not overly engineered Produce and maintain engineering and operational documentation Analyze complex data problems and engineer elegant solutions Develop and maintain knowledge expertise in current technology stack Stay abreast of emerging technologies, make relevant recommendations, and participate in technology modernization projects Work in an Agile SDLC environment Participate in engineering standards and best-practices evolution Participate in an 24x7 on-call rotation Assist Data Analysts in troubleshoot data issues Be able to work daily onsite in our Jupiter, FL office Minimum Requirements 5+ years of experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines using on-premises SQL Server 2017 Enterprise Edition, or newer Proficient understanding of relational data modeling Good TSQL performance tuning skills Experience writing both historical and incremental ETL/ELT data pipelines Solid understanding of traditional Agile SDLC best practices, ceremonies, and tools Solid understanding of source control concepts (such as branching, feature branches, pull requests) and tools (such as GitHub, BitBucket, Azure DevOps) Experience writing Python Experience writing PowerShell Experience building data pipelines using third-party external data sources Experience working on a team of 3 or more data engineers Experience being responsible for the mission critical data solutions Strong initiative, collaboration, accountability, impartiality and communication Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related discipline, or equivalent experience Preferred Skills and Experience Experience writing ETL/ELT which leverages data change detection technologies, such as SQL Server Change Tracking and/or Change Data Capture Experience using Python libraries such as Polars, Pandas, Numpy, CSV, TraceBack, JSON, PyODBC, TurbODBC, Math Experience with cloud-based data management solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift Experience working with DevOps functionality such as CI / CD Experience working with trading / financial / investment / accounting data Experience using productivity tools such as Red Gate and SentryOne Experience with open-source database engines such as Clickhouse, ArcticDB, PostGreSQL Experience writing design documentation such as ERDs, Data Flow Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams Experience writing operational documentation such as Run Books Experience collaborating with project managers, QA testers, and end-users Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline Compensation and Benefits Highly competitive base salary Profit sharing bonus Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 401K Voloridge Investment Management is an SEC registered investment advisor and an Equal Opportunity Employer.
