Our GPS Technology Organization is a structure within the US GPS practice that implements and maintains a new operate and technology model designed specifically to support U.S. defense and Government engagements.
**The opportunity**
You'll have responsibilities within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team that supports various applications in cloud platform services across the Government and Public Sector (GPS) business unit. You'll support the end-to-end aspects of services including but not limited to service engineering, break/fix support, service roadmaps and standards, vendor management. You'll also have responsibilities to include ensuring stability for application platforms and/or services under their responsibility including resolution of incidents and problems, maintenance and support, application platform change control, and automation of processes and procedures.
As a PKI Engineer, you will also work with the PKI Architect in identifying and defining problems, designing optimum solutions, implementing and providing support of new or enhanced PKI services across the GPS organization.

Vitro, North America's largest manufacturer of architectural and automotive glass is currently seeking a Glass/Ceramic/Chemical Engineer for their Tank Department at its Meadville, PA location. The basic function of this position is to direct the batching, melting, and forming operations according to current management policies and established operating parameters and procedures, in order to meet plant goals regarding safety, quality, production, costs, productivity, housekeeping, and employee relations.
The Tank Department consists of two 600 tons per day capacity tanks operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Automotive black and green glasses are produced in many thicknesses on one tank. Clear for the solar market will be produced on the second tank. Mixed ingredients are fed from the batch plant into the two tanks and melted in temperature that exceed 2900ºF. The molten glass flows from these tanks into respective baths of molten tin where it floats on the tin surface, thereby creating a ribbon of glass with parallel surfaces and uniform thickness. The glass is then conveyed to the rolls in the annealing lehr where it is cooled to room temperature. After cooling, the glass is delivered to the Wareroom for inspection, cutting, packing and shipping
Responsibilities
This position's responsibilities fall into the category of coordinating and directing production activities of the batch plant, tanks, baths, and lehrs. Making decisions and assuming responsibility for meeting unit goals. On frequent tours of the department, the incumbent has direct contact with the Supervisors, Tank hourly employees, and other production engineers.
This position reviews and analyzes the various unit production and quality reports, and takes corrective action as necessary within the established operating parameters and procedures. The incumbent refers serious or unusual circumstances to the Manager, Float Process for directions and maintains close communications with the Wareroom, Quality Control, and other staff functions to assure efficient control of operations and to improve performance.
This position makes recommendations to the Manager, Float Process regarding new methods, new equipment, organization, and general improvement of the Department and glass quality. A thorough inspection of the tank refractory structure to determine condition is completed daily. As needed, coordinates the ordering of material, supplies and equipment used in the process. Major items or new items are directed to the Manager for approval.
The incumbent keeps abreast of technological improvements to the process through contact with Vitro Research and other Vitro Tank facilities, exercises engineering skills and basic knowledge of the process and related equipment to determine those areas of least efficient operation and those most penalizing to quality. As a result, they develop new methods or changes to equipment which leads to general improvement in the operation.
The incumbent helps administer a positive training and safety program to assure maximum performance. This position will create an atmosphere of confidence, mutual trust and respect with the tank employees.
Qualifications
The incumbent must have a B.S. degree in glass, ceramic or chemical engineering and a minimum of two years' experience in production or process engineering is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule, Qualification Standard for Professional and Scientific Positions.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Degree: Professional Engineering. To be acceptable, the curriculum must: (1) be in a school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) as a professional engineering curriculum; or (2) include differential and integral calculus and courses (more advanced than first-year physics and chemistry) in five of the following seven areas of engineering science or physics: (a) statics, dynamics; (b) strength of materials (stress-strain relationships); (c) fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (d) thermodynamics; (e) electrical fields and circuits; (f) nature and properties of materials (relating particle and aggregate structure to properties); and (g) any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics, such as optics, heat transfer, soil mechanics, or electronics.

Combination of education and experience: College-level education, training, and/or technical experience that furnished (1) a thorough knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences underlying professional engineering, and (2) a good understanding, both theoretical and practical, of the engineering sciences and techniques and their applications to one of the branches of engineering. The adequacy of such background must be demonstrated by one of the following:
1. Professional Registration: Current registration as a professional engineer by any State, the District of Columbia , Guam, or Puerto Rico . Absent other means of qualifying under this standard, those applicants who achieved such registration by means other than written test (e.g., State grandfather or eminence provisions) are eligible only for positions that are within or closely related to the specialty field of their registration. For example, an applicant who attains registration through a State Board's eminence provision as a manufacturing engineer typically would be rated eligible only for manufacturing engineering positions.
2. Written Test: Evidence of having successfully passed the Engineer-in-Training (EIT) examination, or the written test required for professional registration, which is administered by the Boards of Engineering Examiners in the various States, the District of Columbia , Guam, and Puerto Rico .
3. Specified Academic Courses: Successful completion of at least 60 semester hours of courses in the physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences and in engineering that included the courses specified in the basic requirements. The courses must be fully acceptable toward meeting the requirements of a professional engineering curriculum.
4. Related Curriculum: Successful completion of a curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree in engineering technology or in an appropriate professional field, e.g., physics, chemistry, architecture, computer science, mathematics, hydrology, or geology, may be accepted in lieu of a degree in engineering, provided the applicant has had at least one year of professional engineering experience acquired under professional engineering supervision and guidance. Ordinarily there should be either an established plan of intensive training to develop professional engineering competence, or several years of prior professional engineering-type experience, e.g., in interdisciplinary positions.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

Examples of specialized experience include the ability to research, develop, test and evaluate; procurement and production of munitions, aircraft, and related hardware. Provide technical consultation involving munitions test engineering technology. Determines test requirements and overall objects. Prepare test plans to meet the requirement of the project.
GS-13: Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience to at least the (GS-12) grade level under the General Schedule (GS) or other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience include engineering design and correction of repair procedures. Assume full authority for contract modification and technical recommendations for change order approval. Participate in contract negotiations and award recommendations. Exercise budget control directly supporting the construction, surveillance, and inspection effort. Approves or delegates authority for approval of construction plans, specification, cost estimates, design calculations, construction schedules, contract cost change proposals, and engineering studies.
GS-14: Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience to at least the (GS-13) grade level under the General Schedule (GS) or other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience include plan and program, support contract management, improvement and modernization, advanced strategic planning, marketing, technical symposia, and management of the organization direct and reimbursable budget and verification of test program funds.
GS-15: Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience to at least the (GS-14) grade level under the General Schedule (GS) or other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience include direct and coordinate engineering, construction, and maintenance programs and approves criteria for specialized critical system design and construction. Plan, develop and implement procedures for review of facility acquisition programs, and military construction programs. Direct engineering sufficiency review of these programs as wee as the total construction until turnover.

Incineration Engineer As the Incineration Engineer you will be responsible for providing process expertise in the incineration of industrial waste materials. Ideal candidates will possess a broad set of skills and knowledge regarding incineration processes, including flue gas treatment unit operations, and will exhibit a deep understanding of the chemistry of industrial waste feeds and how those feeds impact the incineration process.

As an Entry Level **_Civil Engineer_** **_I_** in Water Collections Systems, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of water collection systems. You will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure the successful completion of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience and grow within our organization. The ideal candidate will have experience working with collection systems, drainage infrastructure, and waterways. Background understanding of hydraulics is a plus. The individual must work well as a part of a team on a daily basis including site visits and confined space entries. The position requires attention to detail, self-motivation, critical engineering thought, and schedule management.
This position will work out of our **_Mentor, OH_** office.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Assist in the design and development of water collection systems, including pipelines, pumping stations, and treatment facilities.
+ Conduct field inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
+ Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for project submissions.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project planning and execution.
+ Participate in project meetings and provide technical input as needed.
+ Perform data analysis and modeling to support engineering decisions.
+ Ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices in all project activities.
+ Field conditions assessment, Confined Space Entry participation, flow monitoring and other field data collection and review.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, hydraulic modeling software).
+ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
+ Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
+ Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 80 lbs.
+ Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.

$62,000 to $75,000
