The Housing Coordinator is a live-in position and is responsible for working closely with the Director of Housing and Student Activities on all aspects of the Housing operations. This person develops programs and activities designed to engage the student population in housing and supervises specific resident assistants; rotates working on-call during the evenings with the other Housing Coordinator with the Campus Security phone; addresses discipline and counseling situations; ensures maintenance and custodial needs are addressed; and assists in handling crisis situations and emergencies when necessary.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR WHICH THIS INDIVIDUAL IS ACCOUNTABLE
Housing:
1. Works under the direction of the Director of Housing and Student Activities in the administration and daily operations of the Housing functions of the College.
2. Works closely with residents who live in housing to help them become engaged into all aspects of campus life. Places a priority on student engagement and retention-related activities
3. Ensures that residents adhere to college policies and the Housing Handbook.
4. Addresses student problems and issues and works to find appropriate solutions or referrals.
Remains knowledgeable of Western's support services and staff for easy referral.

Evening Coverage:
1. Under the direction of the Campus Safety Coordinator and the Director of Housing and Student Activities, and in collaboration and rotation with the other Housing Coordinator, obtains the on-call phone from Campus Security at the close of the main campus each evening, and takes calls and responds to concerns or incidents in Housing and the main campus until Campus Security arrives the next morning. This includes when the college is closed during long weekends or over breaks.
2. In alignment with college policies, procedures, and guidelines, assesses each concern or incident and investigates, documents, and reports said concern or incident to administration through appropriate channels. Makes calls to and collaborates with emergency services when necessary and documents all incidents through the college reporting system.
Resident Assistants:
1. Hires, supervises, and evaluates the Resident Assistants (RAs) who work in the residence halls. Ensures that check-in and out procedures; room checks; desk shifts and rounds; duty phone rotation; programming/events; enforcement of rules; work orders; and other activities are handled by the RAs according to established practices and procedures.
2. Helps the Resident Assistants mediate problems between residents and deals with situations that are a violation of the Housing Handbook or the Code of Student Conduct.
3. Organizes and conducts weekly RA staff meetings and other housing programming planning meetings.
4. Oversees the RA semester trainings, as well as other ongoing education efforts, such as housing forms, check in/out processes, violations of policy, incident reporting, health and safety checks, etc.
5. Manages the RA email account.
Health and Safety:
1. Ensures that all appropriate health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to by all personnel and maintains safe working conditions and practices at all times.
2. Maintains current CPR, AED, First Aid, & Disease Prevention certifications at all times. Receives training on emergency procedures and college regulations with regard to accidents, injuries and emergencies.
General:

The Web Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of the College website. This person maintains digital content by working with the campus community, ensuring all content is accurate and assures that pages are up-to-date and follow established College standards. This position requires an individual who is capable of applying the knowledge and experiences pertinent to web design. This individual works with people throughout the campus with varying levels of technical knowledge and interest in the website.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES FOR WHICH THIS INDIVIDUAL IS ACCOUNTABLE
1. Develops and implements search engine optimization (SEO) strategies aimed at increasing website visibility and traffic; monitors site performance using Google Analytics and internal tools and generates regular reports to track key metrics and trends.
2. Serve as the liaison with related vendors and platform providers for all website-related tools, CMS platforms, and analytics services.
3. Centralize all related vendor communication to prevent duplicate outreach and ensure consistency in issue tracking, updates, and follow-through.
4. Structure and maintain content to support search engine optimization (SEO) best practices, including metadata, alt text, page speed, keyword strategy, and semantic HTML.
5. Manage search engine marketing campaigns, including the purchase and optimization of Google Ads (AdWords) to improve visibility, traffic, and ROI.

14. Support integration of digital assistant strategies by structuring content and metadata for voice search optimization (VSEO) and compatibility with voice-activated platforms (e.g., Alexa, Siri, Google Assistant).

The primary responsibilities of the Director of College and Career Readiness (CCR) are to provide educational leadership, management, and community engagement, ensuring a positive learning environment and student success. The director oversees the development and implementation of curriculum, ensuring it meets educational standards in the areas of adult basic education (ABE), high school equivalency (HSE) preparation, adult secondary education (ASE), English as a second Language (ESL), career skills and pathways, basic skills development, and high school equivalency (HSE) testing. 1. Responsible for providing educational leadership and supervision for College and Career Readiness personnel including: office assistant, class/lab assistants, full and part time instructors, examiners, and student workers. Performs supervisory functions including performance evaluations; planning, determining and evaluating materials, equipment, space, human resources and curriculum for CCR programs.
2. The director manages the daily operations of the department including: budgeting, annual budget requests, resource allocation, approving all purchases and monitoring department budget expenditures to stay within approved budgets.
3. Research grant funding opportunities at the local, state and federal level and write grant proposals. Manages grants received and generates required reports and communications in accordance with granting institutions requirements. Writes yearly for local SWBOCES AE grant, State and federal AE grant, federal corrections grant, Department of Workforce Services contract, and Department of Vocational Rehabilitation contract. Generates monthly, quarterly, mid-year, and year-end reports for all grants.
4. Oversees and reviews curricula developed by instructors and ensures that it meets College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS). Ensures curricula implementation and assesses quality instruction and performance measures using outcome-based classroom data.
5. Manages and evaluates all relevant statistical and assessment data relating to students in CCR programs, analyzing areas of success and areas needing improvement. Assesses validity of data used to track success of students and performance measures in CCR program.
6. Develops and implements strategic plans that outline the program goals and objectives. This involves conducting assessments to identify areas for improvement and setting measurable targets for academic and operational success. Guides the strategic planning process of the CCR in support of the strategic goals of the College.
7. Addresses student discipline and continued program enrollment while promoting a safe and inclusive environment.
8. Performs and provides professional development for instructors in participatory learning, power path, classroom instruction/management, career skills, career pathways, soft skills, outward mindset, and other related topics.
9. Recruits, interviews, and recommends the selection of adjunct faculty for CCR programs. Coordinates the orientation and training for all new personnel. Conducts annual reviews of staff and faculty.
10. Trains outreach staff and faculty to ensure that services offered at those facilities are comparable to those offered at the Rock Springs campus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Graduation from a college or university with a Master's Degree in Adult Education, Developmental Education, ESL, or a related field.
2. Three years of demonstrated administrative experience of an adult education program or related field.
