Job Responsibilities
Perform pre-trip inspection on equipment in alignment with MPC policy and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Check tank truck/trailer or tractor/trailer for general operating requirements and make sure that all required equipment is available and in good operating condition. Note inspection and deficiencies on the pre-trip inspection form.
Drive a tank truck/trailer or tractor/trailer to transport product in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. Obey all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Follow MPC and site specific standard operating procedures for the loading and offloading process.
Perform post-trip inspection on equipment in alignment with MPC policy and DOT regulations. Complete all regulatory and customary paperwork. Ensure equipment is ready for the next shift.
Communicate all incidents, including safety and environmental concerns, according to company procedures.
Report all equipment issues in a timely manner.
Follow, maintain, and adhere to all safety rules and operating procedures, including all DOT regulations.

Job Summary

Providing written certification of the terminal illness for all subsequent benefit periods
Performing face-to-face encounters within thirty (30) days of the third and subsequent hospice benefit certification periods and attest to the encounter. (NP may complete the encounter and report findings to the hospice physician.)
Consulting with attending physicians regarding pain and symptoms management for hospice patients
Managing oversight of the patient's medications and treatments
Acting as medical resource to the hospice interdisciplinary group
Attending interdisciplinary group meetings and working in a team approach with the group
In conjunction with the attending physician and interdisciplinary group, reviewing and updating the plan of care at least every 15 days, or more frequently as needed
Documenting care provided in the patient's clinical record, providing evidence of progression of the end-stage disease process
Acting as primary physician for patients whose referring/attending physicians desire to relinquish that care and/or if the referring/attending physicians are not available for further contact
Maintaining current knowledge of the latest research and trends in hospice care and pain/symptom management
Reviewing and developing protocols for treatment, and proposing the most current options for interventions
Develop and implement procedures and protocols in regard to OSHA standards, including the handling of hazardous medications
Demonstrating knowledge in communications, and counseling patients and family/caregivers dealing with end-of-life issues
Participating in resolution of interpersonal conflict and issues of clinical and ethical concern
Ensuring that competent physician services are routinely available on a 24-hour basis to meet the general medical needs of the hospice patient to the extent the needs are not met by the attending physician
Assisting with evaluation of protocols and procedures with respect to quality and cost outcomes

Qualifications
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Prior food handling experience preferred.
• Must have excellent customer skills.
• Must be able to sit, walk, grasp, bend, lift, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat, and stand for entire duration of shift.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 40 lbs.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Knowledge of all methods of checking tendering (cash, comp, coupon, credit cards and gift certificates, etc.) preferred.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications and keep them current.
• Must be able obtain ATC liquor permit.

About the Role
At Emergency Veterinary Care Centers, we are seeking a skilled ER Veterinary Technician/Assistant who can demonstrate their advanced medical knowledge. You will be responsible for:
- Caring for and monitoring high-risk patients.- Supporting and performing all aspects of CPR, including chest compressions, manual ventilation, and emergency drug administration.
- Administering and placing advanced anesthetic/analgesic modalities like arterial lines and jugular catheters.
- Identifying abnormalities in vitals without assistance.
- Training team members with advanced knowledge in systemic diseases and the stabilization of critical patients.
- Mastering all aspects of an OR and surgery, from OR etiquette to surgical prep and sterility.-Monitoring Sedative/Anesthetic Procedures
Qualifications
