Mobilization & Deployment Specialist Responsibilities Include:
Coordinate and deliver trainings: R.E.A.L., Emergency Preparedness (quarterly/as requested), CARE Team (4 hrs), SFRG Key Contact (3 hrs), SFRG Treasurer (3 hrs), Command Readiness Representative (6 hrs), Pre‑Deployment, Re‑Deployment, and Reintegration (time varies).
Provide ACS program overviews for SFRGs; facilitate SFRG meetings at the ACS Center (typical briefings 30-45 minutes).
Ensure digital sign‑in completion and upload to the ACS Certification folder in MS Teams; document all trainings/briefings in the ACS Client Tracking System within 3 business days.
Schedule training spaces, coordinate stakeholders, print materials using government resources, market events via installation newspaper and social media, and distribute ACS flyers at trainings/meetings; provide monthly flyers to Command Teams and CFRRs.
Plan and execute Deployment Fairs; coordinate agencies (ACS, Red Cross, OSJA, Chaplains, ASAP, SHARP, Finance, CYS, Housing, MFLC, Tricare, ID Cards, MWR); assist with location/setup; track attendance; document within 3 business days.
Support Soldier Readiness Process (SRP) and reverse SRPs; provide after‑hours support as required; ensure documentation within 3 business days.
Serve on the Emergency Family Assistance Center (EFAC) when activated; complete ADPASS training; support accountability and assessment activities, including outside normal business hours. Foresees and protects company against legal risks.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Mobilization & Deployment Specialist Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in military family readiness, social services, education, or related field.
Experience delivering trainings/briefings to military populations, volunteers, or community groups; familiarity with ACS, SFRG, and deployment/mobilization operations.
Strong coordination and event management skills; ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines under surge conditions.
Proficiency with MS Teams and disciplined data entry; ability to meet strict documentation timelines.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; customer service mindset; ability to work evenings/weekends as mission requires.
ADPASS training completion (or ability to complete upon hire); knowledge of SRP/EFAC processes a plus.
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

The Mental Health Technician (MHT) role is to function as a member of the nursing staff to facilitate quality patient care. The MHT supports the licensed nursing staff to ensure the needs of the patients are met by performing routinely assigned tasks and
carrying out patient care activities within the scope of the MHTs training and experience. Provides direct patient care to
assigned patients ensuring that the patients activities of daily living are met. They are primarily responsible for the day to day
custodial care of the patients. The MHT assist with providing a therapeutic milieu and group assignments as directed. The
MHT utilizes a basic knowledge of psychiatric nursing skills and communicate the emotional, behavior, and psychiatric
manifestation of the patients psychiatric condition to the licensed nursing staff. The MHT is the visible presences of the
nursing staff on the unit and are readily available to the patients for the patients day to day needs. In addition, they ensure a
safe environment through diligent observation of the physical environment as well as the patients status. The MHT must
communicate effectively identified findings observed with the patients to the licensed nursing staff. In addition, the MHT
assist the licensed staff with basic clerical duties when indicated. The MHT will maintain a safe and professional standard for
patient care according to facility mission, policy and procedure, and in accordance with all external regulatory and
credentialing bodies. As a key member of the nursing staff, the MHT is available to families for communication between the
families, patients, and licensed nursing staff. The MHT assist with the nutritional needs of the patients, through working with
the licensed nurses to ensure that nutritional needs are met. The MHT utilizes their knowledge of psychiatric condition and
understanding of supportive care to manage the therapeutic environment. Displays an understanding of therapeutic
communication and de-escalation techniques when required.
WORKING CONDITONS:
Work environment characteristics are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the
essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to
perform essential job functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to
fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment may be moderate to high. The work environment
may include chemicals used for cleaning, and have dust, mist, and stream generated in housekeeping tasks. This is a
smoke-free workplace. Work requires spending approximately 75% or more of the time inside a building that offers
protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
The employee must provide documentation of a tuberculosis test during new-hire orientation and annually thereafter.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand on feet for moderate periods of time, standing couls be
as high as 60-80% per working shift per day. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, at least 4 hours. A
certain amount of walking and standing are often necessary to carry out job duties. Lifting/carrying may exceed
10 pounds.
Additional work environment characteristics may include: performing repetitive tasks/motion, and hearing alarms,
telephone, and normal speaking voice. Stress is identified as a job hazard resulting from a hectic environment
with frequent interruptions. The environment alone presents a certain amount of risk servicing psychiatric patients
in acute and crisis needs

Required Experience: Minimum 4 years of Special Operations Forces (SOF) experience. 18-Series SOF experience. Must have a comprehensive understanding of military fundamentals, customs and courtesies. Familiarization with military organization and terminology.

Furthermore, the Clinical Social Worker demonstrates a strong knowledge of a wide range of disorders; cognitive, emotional, developmental, social, and behavioral disorders. Additional duties include
performing crisis intervention, special case conferences, family communication, and taking a lead role in the treatment team process. In addition,
maintain performance improvement activities within the department and participate in QM activities. The Clinical Social worker adheres to the highest ethical standards regarding patient care and rights. The Clinical
Social Worker facilitates communication to outside agencies to ensure that these patient rights, care, and needs are met. The Clinical Social Worker assists with formulating the budgetary needs of the social service department.

Education:
Masters in Social Work form an accredited school of social work preferred
License:
Licensed through the State by the Regulatory Body. LMSW, LCSW, LPC
Experience:
One year experience performing duties as a Social Worker in a Behavioral Health setting
