The Delivery Specialist is responsible for delivering purchased merchandise to customers within the assigned market while meeting delivery and quality standards. Yardhorse Team Members' basic duties are moving trailers around the Distribution Center from one destination to another. Safe operation of Yardhorse equipment while moving trailers is a requirement. Yardhorse Team Members will be working outside dealing with elements such as rain, snow, wind, dust and heat. 2nd shift Position Available Position Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently move trailers to different areas of the facility Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions while driving and operating equipment in order to ensure personal safety and the safety of others Open and close swinging trailer doors. Ensure proper freight securement of all loaded trailers Ability to work accurately with numbers and perform simple mathematical calculations Communicate with area supervisors using a yard management system to ensure proper placement of trailers Perform pre-trip inspection on trailers Perform safety check of tractor vehicle prior to operation Basic mechanical skills.
