To provide these services through psychological evaluations and analysis, individual and group intervention, behavioral observations, and consultations; maintain a professional working relationship with other school personnel and community agencies to promote better educational programs and mental health. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*: Assess referred students through appropriate testing and diagnostic practice. Interpret testing results and implications to school staff, parents and students as needed. Writes psychological reports and completes eligibility reports. Determines through assessment or the Response to Intervention (RTI) process, the eligibility of students for special education services. Contributes to the development of the Individualized Education Plans (IEP), including assessment of students and development of present levels of performance and IEP goals. Makes eligibility recommendations for general and exceptional students as needed. Organizes and leads multidisciplinary team meetings and assessments of referred students.
