The focus of this role is to design, implement, and maintain advanced security solutions that protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Cirrus digital assets. This role requires deep technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, cybersecurity engineering, and enterprise security architecture, as well as the ability to mentor Security analysts and partner with IT teams on secure system design and operations.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security controls across Microsoft environments, including Azure, Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365, Microsoft Defender, and Windows Server platforms.
Lead incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery, as well as post-incident lessons learned.
Analyze security events and alerts from IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability scanners, and Microsoft security tools to identify and mitigate threats.
Develop and implement security hardening baselines, patch management processes, and secure configuration standards for Microsoft platforms and hybrid environments.
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to design secure solutions, ensuring security requirements are integrated into Windows, Active Directory/Entra ID, Azure, and Microsoft 365 systems.
Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments, making recommendations for risk treatment and mitigation strategies.
Oversee vulnerability management program, including regular assessments, prioritization, and remediation validation.
Create strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Focus on continuous improvement to stay updated on cybersecurity trends and emerging threats to enhance security measures.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to Information Security Analysts and IT staff.
Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures, with specific emphasis on Microsoft platforms.
Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies; recommend improvements to strengthen the security posture

CapSpecialty is seeking an Information Security Analyst who will support our organization's cybersecurity operations. The analyst will assist in monitoring systems, investigating alerts, managing access controls, and supporting compliance efforts. This role includes exposure to Identity & Access Management (“IAM”) and other key areas of information security.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Compensation Range:
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $217,910-$319,601 per year (in the primary posting location). This position is also eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. Position Summary
We are seeking a Autonomous Haulage Systems Engineer to spearhead the design, implementation, and commissioning of an Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) for our Taconite Mine Operation in Minnesota's Mesabi Iron Range. The system will utilize 400-ton haul trucks (e.g. Komatsu 980E-4AT) in coordination with the Komatsu PC7000 shovel. This is a hands on, strategic leadership role focused on developing a reliable technical and operational framework tailored to the abrasive taconite ore and the region's extreme environmental conditions, including sup-zero temperatures. Working closely with teams across mine planning, IT, operations, maintenance, and OEM partners like Komatsu, the engineer will ensure seamless AHS integration, full MSHA compliance, and secure IT/OT infrastructure to manage cybersecurity risks. Additionally, the engineer will lead workforce training initiatives and support sustainability goals through improved fuel efficiency and system optimization.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Autonomous Haulage Systems Engineer will be responsible for the following:
Design and integrate AHS platform for taconite mining, cybersecurity for AHS, and integration with fleet management systems (FMS).
Oversee AHS deployment, ensuring compatibility with fleet management systems.
Ensure MSHA compliance and implement safety features (e.g. obstacle detection).
Develop secure IT/OT networks to mitigate cybersecurity risks.
Monitor KPIs (e.g. equipment utilization, productivity, safety) using analytics.
Collaborate with Komatsu and internal teams to establish site layout, traffic rules, and interaction protocols.
Optimize routes for fuel efficiency and reduced emissions.
Create operational, safety, and emergency response frameworks specific to autonomous haulage.
Manage vendor relationships, site integration, and testing/commissioning milestones.
Ensure system performance meets safety, productivity, and reliability standards through commissioning and ramp-up.
Develop training materials, SOPs, and change management processes for autonomous operations.
Serve as liaison between operations, maintenance, IT, and OEM support for ongoing system performance.
Skills and Qualifications
7+ years of mining or heavy industrial experience (experience with AHS platforms, taconite mining, IT/OT systems, and cybersecurity preferred).
Knowledge of MSHA regulations and safety protocols.
Experience building teams in a start-up or brownfield mine environment.
Familiarity with fleet management systems (FMS) SCADA, or mine automation platforms.
Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-risk environment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Systems, or a related field.
Physical Requirements
This position is a mixture of field work and office duties. Exposure to the elements (rain, snow, cold, heat, etc.) is to be expected. Office duties will require work in front of a laptop, desk, and phone.
Salary
$130,000 - $170,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country.
