What Your Day May Look Like:

Position Requirements:

*What You'll Be Doing (i.e., Job Duties)*
* Lead the preparation of all quarterly and annual filings with the SEC, in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations, including preparation of monthly balance sheets, income statements and quarterly statements of stockholders' equity and preparation of disclosures.
* Assist in coordinating the review and approval of quarterly and annual SEC filings by all relevant parties, including the Disclosure Committee, Audit and Compliance Committee, external auditors, and internal and external legal counsel.
* Support Investor Relations through tie out and other quality assurance review of their externally published materials, and prepare and file the earnings release 8-K.
* Prepare the accounting/finance portion of quarterly Disclosure Committee and Audit Committee decks and present at the Disclosure Committee meeting.
* Lead the Maintain SEC reporting calendar and project manage the SEC reporting process to conform to this calendar, efficiently and effectively coordinating across teams.
* Coordinate with accounting policy on new accounting standards issued by the FASB and accounting and reporting guidance issued by the SEC to determine the impact to the company's disclosures, including writing position papers as needed.
* Support management in completing special projects as assigned and be a financial reporting resource for ad-hoc questions and initiatives.
* Responsible for the coaching, mentoring and management of the SEC reporting team, including across multiple time zones in a mostly asynchronous environment.
* Ensure SEC reporting processes and disclosures represent best practices, recommending and assisting in the implementation of disclosure and process improvements as appropriate, including simplifying, standardizing, and streamline processes.
* Perform financial reporting controls, including clear documentation of work/review performed.

Qualifications
Experience is preferred. Essential functions include:
* Monitor the campus grounds and buildings to ensure the safety of the campus community and visitors

* Regularly check buildings and report broken or malfunctioning equipment, or vandalism within the facilities, and provide a work order for Plant Operations

* Report any violation of law immediately to the Director of Security or the Police Department and submit the appropriate paperwork

* Direct traffic and set up directional aids and signage during special events
