The Physical Security Account Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activities of our security teams, ensuring that all client sites, patrols, and security personnel operate efficiently and in alignment with company standards. Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate daily security operations, officer scheduling, and post assignments.
Serve as the primary point of contact for shift supervisors and security officers regarding shift coverage, client needs, and operational updates.
Monitor field activity, patrol reports, and incident logs to ensure service quality and compliance with company and client requirements.
Manage officer attendance, timekeeping, and staffing levels to maintain adequate coverage across account.
Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training process for new officers.
Conduct periodic site inspections and performance evaluations to ensure adherence to post orders and safety protocols.
Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or client requests, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation of daily operations, incidents, and personnel actions.
Communicate operational issues, trends, and recommendations to management for continuous improvement.
Assist with equipment distribution, key control, and vehicle assignments as needed.
Qualifications
4-6 years of experience in private security, law enforcement, or security operations management.
Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, scheduling systems, and security reporting software.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must possess or be eligible to obtain a state security officer license.
Armed Certified by Louisiana State Board of Private Security.

Flex Officer Explanation
The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company's operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.
Scheduling Expectations
The scheduling parameters and expectations for a flex officer are different from those of an employee assigned to a fixed post. As a flex:
You will be trained at various posts and /or facilities based on operational need. While you may work at a specific post or location for several weeks due to need, this will not be a permanent assignment.
Your schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week, etc.) will vary based on operational need.
You will be assigned to, or offered the opportunity to accept, shifts as they become available due to staffing needs.
Some of your shifts will be scheduled in advance and posted with the new week's schedule. Sometimes you will be called with short notice and asked to come in to cover for someone who is unable to work their shift.
You are expected to work any shift for which you are scheduled in advance which falls within the availability described on this sheet. If you know you will be unavailable on an upcoming date or time that would normally fall within your availability described on this sheet, you must communicate this with your supervisor, so they know not to schedule you.
For short-notice call-ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called. If you refuse more than 20% of shifts for which you are called in, this could negatively impact your employment status with the company.
A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
