Position Summary: As a Casino Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests, employees, and assets. Essential Responsibilities: Maintain a constant presence throughout the casino premises to deter and detect potential security threats, including theft, fraud, disturbances, and unauthorized access. Customer Service Skills are a must. You will be on the floor, interacting with guests on your shift. Provide a visible and reassuring presence for guests and employees, assisting them with inquiries, directions, and any security-related concerns. Respond promptly and professionally to customer service requests, maintaining a courteous demeanor at all times. Take immediate and appropriate action in emergency situations, such as medical incidents, fire alarms, or other safety threats, following established protocols and procedures. Coordinate with emergency personnel, law enforcement, and other relevant parties as needed. Maintain accurate records of shift activities, incidents, and other relevant information. Adheres to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations; including, but not limited to, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer Identification requirements. Verify identification of individuals, such as employees, visitors, and vendors, in accordance with casino policies. Ensure orderly and safe conduct of guests and visitors. Participate in ongoing training programs to stay current on security procedures, emergency response protocols, and casino policies. Maintain a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to casino security operations. Position Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in security or law enforcement is a plus. Proven Customer service skills, as guest interaction in a must. Proven experience in security roles, preferably within the casino or hospitality industry. Strong understanding of security practices, emergency response procedures, and guest service principles. Ability to work in an environment exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels and varied light levels including flashing lights.
