Job Description SECURITY GUARD Salary: 105 - $ 29,926.00 minimum salary Purpose of Classification Performs security work in support of assigned county buildings and facilities. Duties include maintaining constant vigilance over the assigned county building or facility. Positions in this class perform routine security and identify needed corrective actions to resolve discrepancies; answer questions; and maintain documents and records. If stationed at an international bridge, may perform toll collector duties by relieving toll collectors and emergencies; directs and coordinates traffic approaching the toll booth areas; perform janitorial duties (and groundskeeping duties).
