Responsibilities * Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair * Participate in hourly rounds * Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs * Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs * Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition * Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed * Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Qualifications * High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years) * BLS is required within 90 days of hire * Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant) Additional Data Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans

Educates clinical and food service staff on location of the Nutrition Care Manual. Maintains hard copy of simplified diet manual for downtime. + Keeps current with nutritional practices and theories. Maintains current professional registration requirements (i.e., Professional Portfolio, self-development and continuing education).
