The Designer position responsible for operating with minimal supervision while completing project designs and submittals. You get to be a geometry-creation magician in whatever CAD packages and/or styles of modelling (facets, sub-divisional, classical nurbs, etc.) you prefer. Just go fast. You'll be in our open-space studio, side-by-side with designers building the next generation of hardware shipped worldwide by a multi-national corporation, intuiting their directions, taking in conversations, sketches, screenshots, CAD, whatever. Chase all the options (even your own, but ego left at home) to find the right solution. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in industrial design, motion design, art/animation or related field. As a Softgoods Designer on the Industrial Design Specialist Team you will design, prototype, develop and integrate technical softgoods solutions across Meta's consumer VR, AR, Smart Glasses, Wearables and Accessories product lines. We work closely with Industrial Design Generalists, PDE and operations partners to push the boundaries of what is possible in Softgoods integration.
