    We are currently seeking Gas Designer(s) for our gas group in our Bedford, NH office. If you have interest we would encourage you to apply. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or other design related desgrees. The successful candidate will act in a CAD role working on a range of projects. Types of projects include, but are not limited to, main and service replacements, system improvements, pressure upgrades, new busienss main extensions, bridge crossings, regulator station and facility design, critical crossing and horizontal directional drilling design, odorization and pipe conditioning, and much more. Duties: * Work in 3D and 2D with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Civil for the production of quality construction drawings at all phases for client, municipal, and regulatory agency review. * Peer review and QAQC prior to a final review project construction drawings. * Conduct preliminary field work 3D scanning and data collecting which would include carrying approximately 10 lbs throughout the work day. Expected amount of field work would be approximately 5-10% of annual work load and may require up to 2 hours of driving, but may vary based on client needs and project assignments.

Job Posting External Job Duties * Produce computer aided design (CAD) drawings. * Collaborate with sales staff in the design of projects involving warehouse products. Assist in determining and verifying building measurements and other related information required for proper design. Create alternative designs to enhance space utilization, increase product flow, improve efficiency, and reduce cost. * Collaborate with sales staff and customers regarding required changes to existing drawings. * Meet with sales staff and customers at customer locations. Visit sites before, during and after equipment installation to respond to installation questions and to ensure proper installation. * Work closely with Warehouse Solutions Coordinator regarding the scheduling and progress of material delivery. Assist in the coordination of equipment required for installation and perform coordinator functions as necessary. Minimum Qualifications * Associate Degree in Computer Aided Design or at least 5 years experience with technical drawing in a business environment. * Valid driver's license and good driving record required. * Occasional travel required. Preferred Qualifications * Excellent computer, communication and customer care skills. * Technical drawing in a business environment.
