The Position Proposition:
Primoris Power Solutions has an immediate opening for a motivated Substation Engineer to join our growing Substation team in Fort Worth, Texas. As part of this team of highly specialized design professionals, you will support a variety of substation, transmission and distribution projects ranging from 12kV to 500kV in both engineering detailed design and Engineer, Procure, Construct (EPC) projects for clients throughout the country.
Performs intermediate calculations under the supervision of a more seniorengineer. Solves problems using well established scientific principles.
Has good understanding of the NEC and how to apply it to design on electrical systems.
Develops electrical data sheets for electrical equipment.
Develops low voltage and medium voltage wiring schematics with supervision.
Able to analyze data and understands the relationships and correlations.
Ability to draw conclusions and present finding to senior leadership.
Proactive about learning new information and skills.
