This role shall work full time on-site. RESPONSIBILITIES Work as part of our customer's in-house engineering team, as an electrical systems engineer to support our customer with reviewing document designs/submittals from A/E firms, vendor shop drawings/specs/submittals, construction submittals to ensure owner's requirements are met. Oversee electrical projects end to end (from start to completion; i.e. design, procurement, construction, commissioning/startup, documentation support/close-out). Provide technical guidance into the design, project management, commissioning and validation, and start-up of various electrical equipment and systems. Review technical data sheets and drawings for various equipment, instrumentation, and systems with a variety of voltages (Low Voltage, and Medium Voltage systems) Perform field job walks, to review the progress / correctness of field activities Participate in commissioning & startup of electrical systems. Provide technical engineering guidance to junior engineers. Coordination with other engineering disciplines and other cross-functional departments (automation engineering, facilities engineering, process engineering, validation, project management, operations, quality, safety). Coordinate meetings with cross-functional departments, to drive project progress, facilitate decisions, and provide updates. Engage other departments, as required, into design reviews and decisions.
