Raytheon's Receiver/Exciter & Processing Architecture (REPA) Department is the focal point for receiver, exciter, beam steering, and signal processing technology within Raytheon. The department is responsible for the design, development, integration, and support to production builds, and lifecycle support of Raytheon products.
We have an opportunity for a Senior Principal RF Design Engineer who is seeking to utilize their academic background and professional experience in RF / Microwave system theory and design to help develop the next generation of Raytheon's Radar Receiver, Exciter, and Transmitter products.
What You Will Do:
Architecture development, requirements analysis, hardware design, hands-on testing of components, circuit card assemblies, and subsystems.
Design and development of transmitters, receivers, or exciters.
Design and optimization of RF circuits - either chains of components (receiver, exciter, etc.) or individual parts (filters, limiters, couplers, etc.).
Working with interdisciplinary teams - power, digital, mechanical, etc.
Schematic capture and RF routing.
Technical support during the transition to production and support to production activities.
Cost and schedule management plus proposal writing.
This 1st shift position will be 100% on-site and based in either Tewksbury, MA or Marlborough, MA.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 10 years' of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' of prior work experience.
Experience with Microwave/RF system, subsystem and/or component analysis, design and/or test.
Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, ADS, CST, and/or Mentor Graphics' Xpedition) and analytical tools (e.g., MATLAB).
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential
* You will have a BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Information Systems.
* 5+ years' experience in data center hardware infrastructure, with at least 2 years focused on GPU systems and immersion cooling technologies.
* HPC systems architecture, compute and storage
* Project management experience is a plus

Role Overview We're looking for a Senior Power ElectronicsEngineer with project-based engineering experience to lead the AI UPS electrical-related hardware product design, documentation, project-specific technical compliance and support the development activities related to these products. This is a product focused role-we need someone who can speak fluently about both power electronics and BESS systems, ideally have experience with UPS systems in mission critical applications, and interface with project, commissioning and O&M engineering teams. Support the business development team by providing technical proposals e.g. SLDs and GAs that meet the customer's needs.
Compile product technical information packages for the project engineering team.
Co-lead review and validation of the AI UPS electrical-related product during the project execution phase.
Maintain technical documentation including as-built drawings.
Support product development of the AI UPS by capturing design improvement feedback from the different project phases: design, commissioning and O&M.
Support product development by recommending design approaches and vendors of the main equipment.
Participate in product design sprints with the development team.
Participate in project design engineering meetings with customer and project engineering team.
Participate in the product's commissioning phase.
Required Qualification
Bachelor's degree in ElectricalEngineering, Power ElectronicsEngineering, or similar technical field.
8+ years of hands-on power electronicsengineering experience in project-based or industrial settings.
Proven system-level design experience of MW scale power electronics equipment.
Understanding of BESS systems integration with power electronics equipment.
Project management skills.
Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
Willing to travel up to 20% for product FAT inspection and site commissioning witnessing.
Preferred Plus
Experience with BESS, UPS/mission critical applications or utility-scale infrastructure.
