**Responsibilities**
+ Develop and direct important projects or field assignments with complex features. Includes performing engineering studies, proposing solutions to engineering-related problems, and developing models for improvement programs.
+ Perform system analysis using operational criteria and tools (CYME, EMS)
+ Works closely with system study engineer and project scheduler to ensure accuracy of long-term shutdown schedule.
+ Organizes and leads huddle and shutdown schedule review meetings.
+ Organizes and leads cross-function team meetings especially for complex and back-to-back shutdowns in the same area/regions.
+ Champions continuous improvement (CI) initiatives focused on shutdown optimization and coordination of resources.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
+ 4 years of electric utility transmission and substation planning.
+ Software Experience with CYME, EMS, and TARA/PSSE, or ADMS .
Preferred:
+ Master's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
+ Experience maintaining State Estimator technical applications.
+ Familiarity with Energy Management System (EMS) including State Estimator (SE), Contingency Analysis (CA), and N-1 conditions operating practices.
+ Familiar with PSSE or TARA applications.
+ Ability to provide operational feedback to improve EMS system models based on real-time measurements.
