What You'll Do

What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Strong technical understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and audit procedures
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems

Responsibilities will include reviewing legal documents, facilitating client fundings and repayments, reconciling P&L and ensuring RBC's books and records accurately reflect exposures. Oversight duties also involve ensuring proper internal transaction approvals are obtained, monitoring warehouse loan activity against internal limits and confirming that proper documentation is retained.

From the business side, run the KYC annual refresh exercises; communicate all requirements to Origination and Client to assist with gathering required information.
Compile various transaction status lists (ex. quarterly forward-looking compliance items) for internal and external constituents.
Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in projects to implement new products, transaction types or expansion of existing products to new jurisdictions. Projects may also include enhancement to processes or systems.
Assist for related portfolios with internal and external audit of supported businesses.
Proactively identify operational risks / control deficiencies in the business.

Pricing Analysis and Sales Team Advisement
Regularly assess product profitability by analyzing costs, revenues, and other relevant factors.
Update underlying assumptions such as cost structures, pricing models, and market trends to ensure accuracy.
Provide insights and recommendations based on profitability analysis to optimize product performance.
Collaborate with Sales leadership to understand business needs and requirements related to internal pricing tools.
Provide support in the development, updating, and enhancement of pricing tools based on feedback and findings.
Communicate effectively with Sales leadership to ensure alignment between financial analysis and sales strategies.
Utilize Power BI to create comprehensive reports for management, highlighting key financial trends, patterns, and predictions.
Interpret data and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders, supporting strategic planning and business decisions.
Analyze client profitability by evaluating revenue streams, costs, and resource allocations.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining profitability metrics for individual clients.

What are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience
Additional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plus
Experience with financial software such as Power BI, Excel, and other data analysis tools
Experience with ERP and financial modeling software
Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
2-4 years' experience

Education and Work Experience
