Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Lead I&E Designer performs a wide range of duties which include some or all of the following:
Instrument and Electrical Design Lead for the delivery of large complex control system projects. This includes new installations and modifications to existing systems
Lead a team of designers during site surveys to gather information, reconcile, and organize
Develop or modify the following: cable block diagram, instrument location plans, installation details, wiring drawings, relay logic, loop diagrams, instrument index, P&ID's, cable schedules, power & grounding, motor schematics, fiber optics, panel schedules, control room layouts, etc.
Develop fabrication drawings and Bill of Material for the following: control panels, field junction boxes, power distribution, and others
Develop Engineering Scope of Work, Construction Scope of Work, Instrument Specifications, Electrical Specifications and Proposals
Responsible for meeting all Client's drawing and document control requirements
Control System cutover and Electrical startup experience
Maintain and Report to the Project Manager the following: project schedule, weekly progress reports, utilize rules of credit, etc.
Coordinate work and execution with other project disciplines, such as: systems configuration, fabrication, field construction, vendors, and sub-contractors
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
The Lead I&E Designer requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
Associate's degree in Computer Drafting and Design or Engineering Technology. Equivalent experience will be considered
Minimum of 15 years of I/E design experience directly related to the Primary Duties and Responsibilities noted above
Extensive experience with design associated with control systems (DCS, SIS, PLC, etc.)
Knowledge of field instrumentation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in AutoCad and/or Microstation
Working knowledge of SPI is a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Partners with Art Director, Marketing, Ecommerce, copywriters, internal designers and outside designers and ad agencies to gather information for layouts and concepts all the way through production phases.
* Performs a variety of design tasks from start to final production such as logo designs, packaging, point-of -purchase, web, mobile & social channels, product launch events, retail, and brand activations and other specialty projects as assigned by Marketing and Art Directors.
* Responsible for the collection and transfer of files for all types of projects with foreign and domestic venders to sample and produce.
* Coordinates with Production firms to define specifications for quoting and bidding of various projects within defined design perimeters of project to ensure quality and proper execution. Also provides marketing with cost estimates on a project-by-project basis regarding outside costs involved.
* Works with Staff Photographer on coordinating and providing product, photo layouts and background concepts for various projects.
* Coordinates with Staff Copy Writer on providing details, background, layouts and client direction for various projects.
* Responsible for the ongoing implementation of Macintosh computers as a design and production tool to achieve great creative and cost saving company goals. Learns software updates and enhancements, works with consultants and attends seminars to expand computer knowledge as needed.
* Supports cross-train other designers to assist in them learning Wilson approaches to new areas of design. Sharing design experiences and knowledge to grow new designer's abilities.
* Responsible for maintaining the job log for project tracking as well as individual project management.
* Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
This position requires an associate's or bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field and a minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a small design firm or corporate in-house department.
Other qualifications include:

Develop mood boards, creative briefs, and visual guidelines that inspire internal teams and external partners.
Stay ahead of cultural, fashion, and creative trends to inform fresh, relevant storytelling.
Photo & Video Production Oversight
Own the full lifecycle of photo and video shoots, including casting, set design, styling, and on-set creative leadership.
Direct photographers, stylists, makeup artists, set designers, and other creative partners to achieve the highest level of visual output.
Approve final selects and retouching to maintain brand quality and ensure assets are market-ready.
Team Leadership & Talent Management
Manage and mentor an in-house retoucher, providing creative guidance and feedback to maintain consistent quality standards.
Build, manage, and nurture a network of freelance creative partners, including photographers, stylists, makeup artists, and set designers.
Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external creative vendors, ensuring collaboration is productive and aligned with brand goals.
Foster a collaborative, professional, and respectful creative environment in line with company workplace conduct and non-harassment policies.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Collaborate with marketing, design, e-commerce, and merchandising teams to align creative direction with business goals.
Partner with leadership to ensure visuals support brand strategy, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
Present creative concepts and campaign ideas to senior stakeholders for alignment and feedback.
Brand Content & Distribution
Oversee the creation and distribution of content across all channels (social, e-commerce, campaigns, retail, and media partners).
Ensure timely delivery of assets to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Maintain digital asset management systems to ensure all content is accessible, organized, and updated.
Strategic & Operational Management
Manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables for multiple concurrent projects.
Use performance analytics and content engagement insights to refine creative direction and drive results.
Balance creative innovation with consistency in brand representation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Art Direction, Design, Fashion, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3 - 7 years of experience in art direction within fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands.
Demonstrated experience leading large-scale fashion photo shoots and creative campaigns.
Strong creative eye with proven ability to translate brand strategy into compelling visual storytelling.
Experience managing retouchers, freelance creatives, and vendor relationships.
Excellent leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to inspire both internal teams and external partners.
Highly organized with strong project management skills; able to balance multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Capture One, and digital asset management systems.
Work Environment
Full-time, in-office role with frequent on-set responsibilities.
