WHAT OUR FOOD RUNNERS DO
Our Food Runners take and fulfill food and drink orders (sometimes liaising with a lane server/captain, sometimes going directly to the guest) and do their part to help maintain the overall cleanliness of the center and ensure the guest experience is the absolute best it can be.

Our upscale, full-service hotel features 194 guest rooms, 24,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, a full-service restaurant Altitude along with a We Proudly Serve Starbucks café. Managed by Reliance Hospitality, our hotel is the only full-service/upscale hotel located near the General Mitchell International Airport. The hotel benefits from its proximity to the airport, 10-minute drive to downtown, along with access to businesses in nearby business parks, Oak Creek and the surrounding area. Our hotel features the most meeting space outside of downtown Milwaukee and our ballroom can accommodate up to 1,000 people.
The pay for a Banquet Server is $5.00 per hour plus commissions. With commissions added into the hourly rate, the overall hourly rate on average is more than $15.00 per hour sometimes more depending on how many events we have.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Set up tables with china, silverware, and other service equipment and breaks down assigned banquet rooms according to contract and managers instructions
Perform pre and post-shift work; such as set up, coffee stations, bread stations, etc.
Service of food and beverages according to standards
Respond to guest inquiries and special requests promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction; notify supervisor of guest complaints or unusual situations
Communicate frequently with captains and managers as to the progress of the day's work
Maintain condition and cleanliness of banquet rooms, public areas, and storage areas
Maintain inventory of necessary supplies
Maintain Crown Plaza Milwaukee Airport's high standards of quality and service
Perform other duties as assigned which may include assisting with setting up and break down of function space, and plating of meals
Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Clear, effective communication in written and verbal English is required.
The ability to accurately count cash and efficiently process transactions using company systems is expected.
This position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
