Duties & Responsibilities: * Ensures all service stations in the kitchen are stocked and ready for service. * Maintains cleanliness of service stations in kitchen while ensuring that the kitchen is free from clutter and that the kitchen floor is a clean and safe work area. * Ensures that bread, soup and other food products are available. * Ensures that each food item has the appropriate side dishes and sauces. * Wipes up spills or drips on the rims of dishes and ensures the consistency of plate presentation. * Ensures plated hot food leaves the kitchen quickly. * Hand carries food to tables using the correct seat positions on the ticket and verbalizes the dish to the member while serving. * Ensures that all items in "to go" orders are correctly assembled and labels them by stapling the ticket to the bag. * Assists servers and server assistants throughout the course of service as needed. * Assists server assistants in the dining room with clearing soiled dishes, filling waters and setting the dining room. * Breaks down and cleans service stations in the kitchen at the end of the shift. * Reports complaints to manager on duty when received. * Ensures that the salad bar stays stocked, clean and in good working condition. * Responsible for storing equipment and materials properly and in the correct areas. * Ensures that all storerooms and equipment storage areas are orderly and clean. * Inspects equipment for defects, cleanliness or any maintenance that needs to be completed and reports to supervisor. * Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards. * Carries out bylaws and policies set by the Board of Directors. * Any, and all other duties, as assigned by the DRP Restaurant Manager, DRP Assistant Restaurant Manager, and/or DRP Restaurant Supervisor. Experience * Previous food & beverage experience preferred. Education * High school or equivalent education required.     Part-time Description General Description: Individual will serve as the guest contact/liaison for the Center. Primary Responsibilities: Works as scheduled and in proper uniform with nametag. To act in a professional manner at all times. To perform a pull for an event (all china, glass, silverware, and small wares). To polish all silverware, chafing dishes, and glassware prior to set up. To obtain instructions for set up from Banquet Captain/Manager and execute these instructions immediately. Individual must ask questions regarding set up, items to be served, pick up areas, pick up times, breakdown and coffee station locations; as well as communicate instructions to and from supervisor and other servers. Responsible for the proper set up and service of all food functions assigned as stated in the waitstaff service manual. Be aware of or obtain knowledge of guest comfort locations such as restrooms and pay phones. Serve ladies first. Serve all food items from the left and clear such items from the right. Serve all beverages from the right. Individual's stations must be completely set and rechecked before the event begins to ensure all items are correctly placed. Once the station is set up the individual must stand by station and be ready to greet the guests and begin service. Standing at parade rest with hands behind their back. Respond to all guest requests with an expedient, cheerful and helpful manner.
