Follow architectural drawings to determine installation of wiring systems
Replace faulty wires and parts and ensure that the new ones are in proper working order
Inspect electrical systems and components to determine condition and identify needed repairs
Install a variety of electrical system components such as lighting, switches, circuits, panels and outlets
Identify hazards or defects in electrical systems by performing periodic inspections
Plan layout of electrical wiring and equipment keeping in mind local building codes and project specifications
Direct the work of apprentices to ensure that work orders are handled properly

Responsibilities
+ Diagnose and repair high and low voltage electrical systems, motors, generators, and control panels.
+ Troubleshoot AC/DC motor controls, drives, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
+ Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime.
+ Design and install new electrical systems and upgrades in compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and local codes.
+ Coordinate in-house electrical repairs and capital improvement projects.
+ Lead and mentor junior electricians and apprentices.
+ Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
+ Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to meet project goals.

Minimum Requirements
