Job Description Summary
The primary functions of the electrician include but are not limited to Installation of new electrical equipment, troubleshooting and ensuring quality repairs to plant equipment and electrical systems in a safe, efficient and productive manner and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
Licensed electrician preferred but not required
Must have 2 years of three-phase experience and experience with PLC.
Ability to conduct ground continuity and earth resistance tests.
Ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath machines and in close quarters, performing analysis and repair work.
Willingness to work in outdoor environment in all conditions.

Position Overview
The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for general daily maintenance and operation in all aspects of facility electrical, secondary power, both high and low voltage systems in all facilities. Position Overview
The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for general daily maintenance and operation in all aspects of facility electrical, secondary power, both high and low voltage systems in all facilities. The position will require scheduling flexibility and will include some nights and weekends. Overtime is available for this position. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Facility Engineering who is onsite at the venue
Requirements:
Principal Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Perform electrical and general maintenance as assigned
Maintain all standards, policies, and procedures as they relate to electrical, plumbing & HVAC systems
Monitor the electrical systems, lighting, and lamp replacement program
Conduct preventative maintenance schedules for all electrical, plumbing & HVAC systems
Assist in inspections for regulatory compliance
Assist with the safety program, monitoring compliance with applicable building and safety codes, hazardous waste disposal, OSHA, hazardous materials, etc.
Provide support to artist tour during load-in and load-out, as assigned by the Senior Director of Facility Engineering
Represent Walton Arts Center / Walmart AMP at both on and off-site events, as requested.
Maintain professional working relationships with teammates, fellow staff members from other departments, vendors, patrons, and tenants of leased spaces.
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
Maintain security and safety requirements as defined by operations guidelines.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

(5) Years of building engineer experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
Ability to trouble shoot/analyze problems with equipment and controls
Strong mechanical aptitude
Working knowledge of construction and building maintenance, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration and lighting control equipment and systems
Knowledge of principles and practices of federal, state and local law, code and regulations applicable to the work, including regulations applicable to safe work practices and procedures
Highest ethics as they relate to all aspects of business
Strong organizational skills
Hands-on repair of all electrical components related to mechanical and plumbing equipment
Ability to work independently and with initiative
Ability to effectively contribute to a project team dynamic
Ability to understand and maintain the highest levels of confidentiality
Must be physically and mentally fit to respond to emergency situations
Experience/knowledge in conduit design and installation
Reading and comprehend blueprints
Education, Training, Traits
High school diploma or GED required
Comfortable with consistently adhering to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics and confidentiality.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Strong communications skills and the ability to interact with many different types of people

Work Experience
Capable of interacting with vendors and public
Minimum of (4) four years of facilities or construction experience
Minimum (4) four years of experience working with electrical systems.
Licenses and Certifications
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record required
Arkansas state Journeyman Electricians license
